First Exercise of the week.
One Ruckmarch
One Ruckmarch
Work counts. I used to walk 1.5-2.5 miles a day with a 12 pound sledgehammer, pounding railroad spikes and banging rail anchors. Swinging a sledgehammer is a full body workout. I moved on to operating heavy equipment for the railroad, but occasionally I still have to do that kind of work, and I'm definitely not in shape for it, no matter how much I work out.Interesting topic.
I move dirt instead.
Last week, my brother, wife and myself moved 12 tons of dirt. I had to move each bucket twice, lift from chest high roller conveyor - place on skip hoist platform then lift from skip hoist platform and empty bucket in power wagon.
It is dirty work but I did get rid of my love handles.
