I have an old truck bed sitting on some blocks as a planter. Planning on putting herbs in it. Was just going to get some baggage stuff (jungle growth). What would the experts here recommend?
All you need is good soil, water & drainage.
My country Brother uses two old bath tubs as tomato & herb garden.
They also make good worm beds.

I am the definition of ...black thumb.. pretty much...
However.... I have had much more experienced, knowledgeable, and talented gardeners say to use a metal container for a raised bed is hard to get to work well.. That being it will dry out too fast, too often to work well... Although I have seen a gardener use old cast iron built in bath tubs to good success... Coincidentally, they were exposed to morning sun, but shaded from afternoon sun... I'm sure they were quite well watered.. Also this was in growing zone 2... Good luck..
