I hear the job market in Northern Virgina is in the toilet right now. Real estate prices are tanking.

If we can get all the swamp creatures in Northern Virginia (Langley, McLean, Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, etc.) to leave to find work in California, Massachusetts, etc. , we can turn Virginia deep red again. That small corner of Virginia is why Virginia turned blue.

I'm starting to stock up on dry goods and canned goods. If they increase the amount of SS everybody might go up and out of poverty which is good and bad. In my case bad. If the increase isn't enough, just enough to get me above the poverty line, it will make it harder on me period. My housing is subsidized and my health paid for. If I come above the line I'll have to pay for it all myself. Bottom dollar is I won't have squat for spending on anything.
