They give me the 'you gotta go potty, RIGHT NOW!!!' thing.
By this, do you mean Rocky Mountain oysters aka calf nuts? They are good if they’re cooked right. I got in trouble one time for taking some to school in my lunch and shared. I didn’t know that everyone else didn’t eat them.Prairie oysters
Just boiling Brussel sprouts in water until the outer leaves move away, put butter, salt and pepper on, that's all. Same as always. What are you cooking them in?

My brother ate raw hamburger and raw egg but not in beer. He was a young teen. My sister and I would cringe. My father would eat "raw" hamburger meat (not cooked rare, totally uncooked). His other thing was a glass of beer with a raw egg in it.
Called chopped beefMy pops used to buy something, I can't remember what he called it, but it was raw hamburger mixed with chopped onion & peppers, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce and other stuff. He ate it with crackers or made a sandwich from it. I had some and thought it was okay, until the told me it was raw hamburger. Then I sort of lost interest.
