Well, while I like the underdog revenge aspects, the shooter was a back shootin' dry gulcher. I don't have much respect for that. Especially an amateur like that who got caught after making rookie mistakes. Kids today have no pride in being professional...

I say it's "Surgical precision." Noone innocent died and they didn't die at the hands of people who were supposed to protect and provide from them. And unlike the people killed by Thompson, the victim wasn't innocent.

I had United Health Care thru my employer for decades.
They did OK, total knee replacement, heavy duty shoulder repair, cataract surgery, detached retina surgery. And that's just what I remember for me. I'm sure there was more.
For the wife, two total knee replacements and a bunch of other stuff.

I had no complaints for UHC.

Justified killing then? The guy was a rich dude making money from insurance. Our politicians are much worse. So who decides? I don't think this really sends a message to rich insurance guys. They'll just get better security. The only way this would change would be to do our medical system another way. And I don't mean commie/socialistic either. If everyone wanted to change it, it would change.

This all began with Obamacare. Don't hate the player, hate the designer.
That is what I saw somewhere. It is due to Obamacare.
I have a cousin who has a software company. He is well off. His insurance rates for him, wife and 4 children were outrageous.

It reminds me of a woman who was on city council in Denver. Hispanic, lesbian whose family had owned a particular property for generations, and filled in with spaces for extended family to live there, a compound. It sits on a fairly major road. She had decided that she was going to push an agenda that white business owners were going to be taxed extra somehow and that money was going to be given to minority business owners. She didn't get re-elected. Someone told me that she didn't actually live in Denver, but lived in Aurora, but received mail, etc. at the family compound. That came up in the campaigning and women were livid about it. They had been to meetings at the family compound. They knew she lived there. Too many people knew otherwise.

Heh. my kid is an anarchist to make his daddy proud of!
Seriously though, murder is generally a bad thing, but something odd is going on, last month ALL my primary care providers dropped United, and back in the spring they cut out my food card, coincidence?
Better explain it, kid, show your sources.

What kind of world have we become where we are rationalizing cold blooded murder? It is wrong, period.

I agree, murder is wrong. It is just hard to feel bad about the death of the head of an insurance company, that has probably killed an untold number of people by denying them medical treatment.

This is not what the 2nd ammendment was created for- at all. nor is the 2nd ammendment anything other than a written expression of an inalienable God-given right which is not dictated by a law- or ones advocacy or support of that law. Period.

And honestly, i think this event is gonna culminate to more harm than good. We saw lots of Healthcare executives take their pictures off social media and retreat from public- even if the right and moral strategy was a kill centric approach to these people you just blew the coop for 1 dude.

This was nothing more than personal vendetta, revenge killing. It was immoral even if the guy was an *******.

More likely the rich, and now scared executives will push the envelope on gun control like the cockroaches they are- its already considered a public "health" issue. The ugly truth of our current system is that despite all the common people celebrating the dirt nap of one *******, no good change comes from it. the murder of a stranger you never knew of doesn nothing but hurt you.

all his buddies can outperform yall politically cause money is now free speech and their money counts for more than their ******* opinion.

They can expect copious dollars funded by their unhealthy, often insulin-dpendent lifestyle to now work against 2a because this ******* has likely just maligned more high level health care executives actively against 2a. Nice work *******...

This event is nothing to celebrate.

One if the dumbest things you can do is try to cut the head off a snake and not realize it's actually a hydra- trust me, some other scumbags will slot right into the vacant spot and nothing will improve. Stupid ******* move.

I'm kind of torn on the issue. on the one hand, murder is bad, on the other hand, the 2A was meant to keep tyrants in check. Was he a tyrant? maybe so. was he an A**hole? you bet!

What is a CEO?

To answer the question, "What is a CEO?", it's important to first understand the acronym. CEO stands for "chief executive officer." A chief executive officer governs the strategic direction of an organization by making top-level managerial decisions. While they may seek opinions from other C-level officers, directors or managers within the organization, the success of the company generally depends on their strategic direction. Some CEOs may have the title of president, managing director or executive director. If the CEO is the leader of a publicly traded company, they answer to the board of directors and the stakeholders.

And how do we know this?

The news media?

The internet?

Because he worked for a company that does bad things in someone's opinion?

Had anyone ever even so much as heard of this guy before he was murdered? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Being an a-hole is not a reason or justification to be murdered. Half of us here would be gone by now if that were the case. And we don't even know if this guy was an a-hole ... except by what the internet tells us on some blogs, mostly the "perpetual victim" blogs from what I've seen reported. Very reliable info there, I'll tell you... ☹️

I hope you all realize what this idiot murderer did was just increase the payroll for the other million CEO's around the country.

The FBI is now telling all CEO's to "scrub" their social media accounts, shut down their LinkedIn accounts, increase their home and business security systems, move their children to high security VIP schools, and hire personal armed guards and highly trained defensive driving experts. This assassin screwed the pooch, because they will now need even more money to protect themselves and their families.

Many of the basement gamers of the world are trying to push this idiot assassin into martyrdom, thinking this stupid act will somehow force the CEO's into approving anything the patient wants, with no oversight, nor ask for any opinion from the board of directors. The world does not work this way.

Please, wannabees, PLEASE, don't start Killing (Auto/Home)Insurance Carrier CEO's...!!!

New AI lets them deny thousands of claims an hour without reading them.
