I ordered 6k rounds over 54lbs of .22cal from midwayusa, everything gone without a hitch until, until it reached Commerce City, CO 4/11, it never moved from that point, come Monday 4/16 (delivery day) it never showed up. So at 8PM Monday I called UPS to do an inquiry of the package, two hours later I received a text the package was damaged and missing part of the order, they sending it back to sender, investigation launched. 7AM 4/17 (my time) I called midway and explained the situation she checked with UPS, she refilled my order. No sooner I got off the phone I received an email the order was being prepared and by 9AM (my time) I received an email the order was shipped, anyway back to UPS again, the damaged package eroute to sender I get another text, while the package was enroute it was damaged again *sigh

In the end UPS was quick to respond to my call and midway without a blinking an eye, all I lost was time.

While doing OSHA upgrades to a UPS plant in Rockford IL, we had to use grinders and cut off wheels, and sometimes torches, to take off old conveyor guards. It wasn't uncommon to fire off some pistol ammunition while cutting. UPS plants are full of old ammunition, when they tear open a box, they just sweep up whats on the floor. It falls into something they could care less. No time for that.

After working there, it amazes me my packages arrive at all.
