PS - Man, what a Goldmine - for Lots of Other, non-Sailing Projects - that site is.. ie:

Hardware: Sails, Awnings, Shades, Curtains, Grommets
Webbing: Cotton/Polyester Blend 👍
Sewing Machines 😍

..I don't have very high hopes for the rest of the '2023 Piggy Bank', m'fraid.. ;)

I have long observed that the 'Sailing / Yachting Industry' is a Treasure-trove for 'odd / alternative raw-materials' (ie: those above, and Others - Glues / Resins / Foam / Vinyl-sources / tough-Fabrics / Canvas, etc, etc..) which are Usually designed and manufactured Very well (given the 'harsh Marine-enviro' target-market) and is a Great 'alternative shopping source' for many other 'prepper items' as well (ie: efficient / tough DC-powered appliances, weatherproof storage ideas, etc)

Mine is a little different, had it for 2 decades. Can't be beat for stitching canvas...

Other places for unusual gear that would be useful to preppers.

Memphis Net and Twine for commercial fishing gear. I've done business with them for many years.

I've got to look through my sewing stuff--I think I might have one of those. My cousin gave me his mother's sewing cabinet when she was moving into assisted living. It was chock full of oddball stuff. His dad was a costumer on Broadway so the cabinet and boxes they gave me was full of all kinds of cool things. Truthfully, I've never gone through most of it.
