You're not the only one. Actually, I could of answered my Friday Fives just like yours.
We're twins. Ha.
I do have a sense of humor, but not at someone else's expense. I don't even like it when people make "fun". It isn't fun.
Especially if the person who is on the receiving end isn't laughing. It is a common thing for narcissists to say or do something unkind and then try to say, "It was a joke." Nope, not a joke. It was an unkind thing to say or do and saying it was a joke does not give anyone a pass, especially if the relationship between the two people has not been good to begin with.

@Supervisor42 , who are you choosing for next week??

I thought Joel volunteered to do it next week if Supe42 did it this week. It should be Joel. Go back a page or two to the posts of December 29th on this thread. Joel did admit he will need a reminder.

First off, Supervisor, thank you for taking a turn. You did a great job with your questions. I believe that anyone who comes to this thread and reads or participates needs to have a turn.

1. How many hours per day do you spend on the forum? (Tell the truth now! :waiting:)
I don't time myself. I am sure that some days I am here more than others. I am probably here half an hour to an hour on any given day.

2. What is your favorite wild animal?
I can't choose just one. I have been a life long lover of rabbits. But I also love seeing foxes.

3. What is the most annoying sound you hear (or have heard)?
People who are screaming, yelling and arguing. I cannot stand this kind of behavior.

4. What is the most fun thing you get to do every day?
Get up and drink a cup of coffee.

5. What is the best/worst prank you have ever pulled on somebody (or people)?

I am not a prankster, so I don't play pranks. I can tell you a prank that was pulled on me in 8th grade by a kid, now man, who is someone that was wild and crazy, but whom we all love. I came back from lunch and opened my lift top desk to find a used kotex. He was laughing so hard it had to be him. What to do? I immediately slammed my desktop down and thought for a moment about what to do. I went back into my desk, got a pencil and paper and wrote a note to the teacher. I don't remember how it was removed from my desk, if I did it, or if he was made to. He was called out of class to the principal's office which was across the hall from us. Pranks are for the prankster, and some pranks are horrible.

This person who pulled this prank lived a gay lifestyle for many years. He just had lots of fun, but was in prison for a year shortly out of high school for drugs. He got AIDS from his partner. He was in the hospital, almost deceased, when he decided to accept Jesus. He got better, health wise. It took him about a year to leave the gay lifestyle, but he did. He now has a prison ministry, and after he left the gay lifestyle, they were no longer able to detect any AIDS in him.

Do not open till Friday.
1)Lost in the wilderness, what kind of shelter would you build?
2) You are to be dropped off in the wilderness, fully dressed, with all the water you can carry & five other things.
Name the five other things.
3)How often do you inspect & replace your first aid kit.?
4)What animal that you do not have, that you would like to add to your Homestead?
5) If you could go back ten years & change/ add one thing to your prep, what would it be?

I'm up at 2:30, guess I'll go first 😮!! 1) It would be hard to get me lost, and what type of wilderness? I would make a 'lean to' out of cedar branches. 2) A knife, gun, ammo, a rope, and matches. I can make fire, I can make a knife, but might as well start with them! 3) Yearly. 4) Goats. 5) A freeze dryer. Thank you for the great questions @joel !

1)Lost in the wilderness, what kind of shelter would you build?
A Bough yurt.
2) You are to be dropped off in the wilderness, fully dressed, with all the water you can carry & five other things.
Name the five other things.
A knife, a torch lighter, a solar flashlight, a trauma kit, a cell phone.
3)How often do you inspect & replace your first aid kit.?
Once a year.
4)What animal that you do not have, that you would like to add to your Homestead?
A mated pair of tame bobcats.
5) If you could go back ten years & change/ add one thing to your prep, what would it be?
More investments like gold, silver, and cases of SKS carbines.

1)Lost in the wilderness, what kind of shelter would you build?
Probably a lean-to - pine boughs and sticks
2) You are to be dropped off in the wilderness, fully dressed, with all the water you can carry & five other things.

My get-home bag which contains everything I might need. 🤪

But that's not in the spirit of your question. I'd say a satellite phone, topo map, compass, knife, storm-proof matches.
3)How often do you inspect & replace your first aid kit.?
Every six months or so
4)What animal that you do not have, that you would like to add to your Homestead?
Horse
5) If you could go back ten years & change/ add one thing to your prep, what would it be?
Off-grid power for my home - probably solar

I didn't really cheat because I am just answering now, but I did look at the questions last night. Sue me. Great job Joel. These made me think.

1.) A debris hut

2.) Kabar USMC Fighting Knife, Grayl Titanium water filter, Woobie Poncho w/liner, UCO stormproof Match Kit, 200' parcord.

3.) Every six months

4.) I don't have any animals, and really don't have a homestead, but if I was to add an animal it would be rabbits.

5.) I would add a Big Berkey Water Filter 3 gallon size.

Don't forget to pass the torch.

It's very hard for me to get lost as I have a homing beacon in my head. But here goes.
1 A domed shelter of whatever is available

2 A Bowie knife, permanent match, water filter, mess kit, crank up radio

3 Depends on how much I hurt myself, maybe every month

4 No animals either but I think a dog

5 I would buy the land I should have
