Found a great site for this:
http://brightergy.com/solar-estimator/
You can put in your address, choose your roof, and see how much solar would cost, which rebates would apply, how much you'd save, payback period, etc. Really an all in one calculation tool. I looked around for a LONG time to find this for a place other than California.
Check it out if you are thinking about it, or curious. Note, the federal tax credit is only applicable to a certain size system, so even if you have more roof space, better to scale it down to the maximum allowed for the credit (anything over the max isn't eligible for the 30% rebate, so instead of it being 70% on your dime, any excess is 100% on you.) The site tool can auto-size it down to that though, which is pretty cool.
