Toy Caldwell was a US Marine who served in Vietnam, wounded in combat. I have never even heard of him.

He has a good story about him. He could have came home after he was wounded but chose to rehab in country and return to his unit.
Quite the musician as well. Most of that band had music degrees. Put on a great live show. I was fortunate to see themba few times.

One of their best IMO. But they really had no bad ones. LOL

they could have toned it down on a little on one or two of those early ones...my sisters would let me tag along while they'd listen to the first LZ(?) album in a neighborhood girl's home (parents weren't home), and they'd giggle and gasp over the words.
I hate to think I been blinded baby...Always liked that song...haha
Poor Bobby P. always all this unrequited love in his songs.
