Okay, @Peanut I thought you were mostly that other kind of pickin' music lover than this kind of stuff, and certainly didn't think you enjoyed Dave Matthews. I like Procol Harum's version too, had never heard this version. He will be playing with my all time new favorite band KANSAS and I think either The Outlaws or some other good ol' band...lemme check....It will be .38 Special, Jefferson Starship, Dave Matthews, and The Outlaws, at all of their June July concerts, one of which will be in my area.

For a Brighter Side of Grey....
Was watching tv… a show had the song ‘Whiter Shade of Pale’ as background music (Procol Harum org vers). Since I always preferred the Joe Cocker version I brought it up on youtub. Already had my guitar out so I started to play along. I’ve never tried to play it before, surprised how easy it was.

Scrolled down the page and saw Dave Mathews doing the song. Always been a Mathews fan so I played the video… amazing… Dave Mathews by himself with an acoustic guitar playing ‘Whiter Shade of Pale’. The melody is so simple but he plays it beautifully. I listened the first time through, played along on the second… It’s now in my pickin’ folder links. Guess I’ll be playing along with this version for a while..

A simeral song title is why, which often leads to a similar meaning or a given impression of the song writer leading to a meaning.

I'll remember you you like metal.

No, I don't like metal.... think of it this way... which is better for your body? Basic natural foods or highly processed foods? Music for your psyche is no different, it has a direct effect on your life. Unplugging that guitar changes how you see life. Today, music has become so over processed it no longer benefits your psyche.

In fact noise poisons the psyche and the body… Ever take a long look at the lives of those who fill their head with head banging noise… compared to those who listen to natural music? Choose...

I'm trying to not have a bad attitude day, but sometimes it just happens, and this song just came-up in my music cue.... and works for a reply: Pour Whiskey On My Grave....
