It can certainly change fast!
We had a perfect day going, bright sun, mid 90's, no wind.
I went down for a nap and when I woke up, it had turned upside-down in just 1-1/2 hours.
Temp dropped 18°, dark overcast sky, and a pesky wind. 🥶
Ah that's nothing try 40 or 50 degree drop in a few hours. One February we had a balmy +60 at 07:00 to a -30 by 19:00. Fortunately, it doesn't do that all the time but 20 to 50 degree drops happen all the time especially in the fall and spring.

One summer we got 6" to 8" of snow in August. Living in the high mountains is fun.

@Pearl ‘s forecast gave us rain starting last night before 11 and still going strong this morning, some thunder. Really good to have the rain.
Might have a little redevelopment mid morning, 64°!! Heading outside in a minute, will check the rain gauge!!

What state are you in? (If you don’t mind sharing- seems like you might have in another thread, 🧵 but my memory is only as long as a thread.

Find us a place up there would ya 😄
We are over just about 145,000 square miles. You ought to find some place you will like. We are semi-desert country from high mountains to prairie.

Were I live, the capitol, the mountains are from around 5,000 feet to a little over 9,000 feet. I live at around 4800 feet.
