Today or tomorrow will the end of temperatures in the 40's. What has been even more impressive our nightly lows have been in the upper 30's.

The middle of November we had 20" total snow on ground from several snowstorms. Now either green grass or 1" in spots.

Strangest Alaskan winter.
 
We're down south shopping and it's 49 degs here and partly sunny. I wished that I brought my motorized kayak (Mokai) with me. Now that there's no ice on the creeks, I could drive my kayak up river from here to within about 5 miles from our house. That's about 120 river miles total. Two rivers and one creek. I'd have to bring an extra can of gas with me and refill in a couple towns along the way.
