That’s what we’ve been at for a few weeks. I think high today was 36*. A fella we had to meet earlier was in a short sleeve shirt and just had a jacket to stay dry when he was on the roof.

We've had two days of freezing weather here, but dry. Today we are under a snow warning, as rain is coming up and the low temp is falling south. They just aren't sure how much yet! I'm in the purple area - The north of the UK is to get more also (on the right hand side). Scotland already has a bit. Theres a pub on the moors- the highest in England, people headed to it yesterday in campers, as two years ago it got snowed in for a week. They are hoping.

Can’t hardly believe this weather. It is so nice outside right now. 65 degrees, breezy. Very overcast. By 9 a.m. it will be 45 and dropping.
Same here in Rochester, New York. Except...the temperature is 22 with a wind chill that brings it down to 6. And we have snow.

I guess the wind is the arctic blast they were talking about. My dog is ticked off because we haven't been able to go on our regular long morning walks. We both get too chilly after a mile or so.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM
EST TUESDAY...

9 inches, with amounts of 10 to 12 inches possible in isolated

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Tuesday. Highest
snowfall rates occur late tonight into early Monday morning. A
lull in precipitation will occur sometime during the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A second round of heavy snow is possible
Monday evening before precipitation ends.

My area has seen a huge amount of building going on with city people from out of state moving here. Already yesterday evening on the local FB page they were starting to freak out about the snow coming.

I can see if they were from somewhere that didn't get snow and ice but they must have seen snow in their lifetime. Geesh.

Believe me if it gets up into double digits amounts things will be closed and if the winds start then drifts will have all the roadways blocked and nobody is going no where.

They need to chill out.

I think many of us are in the same band of weather that follows Interstate 70 from the Appalachians all the way through Kansas. Heavy snow, some ice, high winds. Don't plan on going anywhere for a couple of days.
