43* and sunny. Things are melting.
49° here, muddy!! I see how those up north think 50° is warm when they are out working, feels like summer out there! I just came in to ditch the jacket, already ditched the coat. Down to yoga pants, a t-shirt, and a very light sweatshirt! And muck boots, lol!! The fashion police can't see me thankfully!!

Well this is technically weather in my area (the cave)...
Ignore the 'indoor temperature' and pay attention to the perilously low 31% humidity .
Never seen it this low before.
I am being electrocuted every time I move in or out of my chair with static sparks!!!:eyeballs:

(oh BTW, I do keep my room 'toasty-warm'):D
You don't like dust mites?? lol, They don't survive well in conditions under 50%rh.

Wonder if the heat has something do with static electricity? I usually keep my thermostat at 68 and with 30% humidity static shocks aren't a problem, at 25% it is. I just started monitoring it and using a humidifier to keep my house at 30% or slightly higher. Static electricity kills electrons and I'm gonna be messing with computer components.

Anyway, here in MI.... a heat wave, 30 degree high predicted.

Best part of living in the south… winter. Yesterday was cold and snowy. People got Friday off. Kids were out of school, made snowmen and slid down a few hills. Snow still here this morning. This afternoon… just about gone. Be in the 50’s tomorrow and the snow will just be a memory.

And the very best part of this arctic blast... I ran one brick on my gas space heater the entire time... Until I had to turn it off for a while this afternoon, got too hot in the house.

This morning... this afternoon...

At 7pm local time, 25F, knee high overcast, light south west breeze, low barometer and just starting to snow a few fluffy flakes.. Predicted to be 5F for high temps and more snow through the middle of next week.. Out today for a hot coffee and to feed the squirrels at our favorite McDonalds next to the park and community college.. Bread, milk, bananas, a frozen lasagna to make for the January pot luck later this week here at the ...Wrinkle Ranch... senior housing.. Then plan to hunker in for the coming cold weather..

21 degrees at sunrise, and this is Florida!
As far north in the state as you can get without being in Georgia, but Florida none the less.
It just got above freezing at 10:25 AM. It is now 33.

Our animals told us that it would be a cold winter. The wife's horse (my avatar) started growing her winter coat back in October, and the chickens went into molt early too.
It's not over yet.

High wind and torrential rain over night. Currently clear blue skies an 46f above, and slight breeze.

Weather here can be very unpredictable. When I went to bed last night the forecast for tonight was for 1-3 feet of snow. Now it’s 4-8 inches but with 50 MPH winds. Parts of Alaska not far from me are supposed to have 100 MPH winds today. Let’s see what comes.

High of 38f....it got this mess to melting...i only done a path since big storm...wasnt fighting ice under snow...so wait it was....today it made it so i could shovel...2 inches of ice under 3-4 inches of snow...it was way easier than fighting it when it was single digits at night and high day time temp well below freezing...job done...mostly...everything is encased in ice still....not going away any time soon...i bet driveway has 3 plus inches of ice under snow from what i see...i aint dealing with that...i gotta pick my battles cause two seniors rely on me for EVERYTHING now.

felt strong shoveling snow and didnt need a break...arms and back felt strong and cardio was keeping up easily .
