We got about 4" of snow over night. It's beautiful out there right now with the new white carpet and snow in the pine boughs. Even though the clip below says it's Mostly Cloudy, it is not right now. I don't see a cloud in the sky.

We're expecting another foot of snow tonight and tomorrow. We've been snowed in for close to 2 weeks now. My truck is stuck and won't be going anywhere until I get it dug out, may have to chain it up too. I'm working on clearing the road today, lots of problems so far. Starting mid next week their calling for about 7 days of snow and up to 3 feet.

i was driving up the coast in it as it dumped....i was pushing snow to bumper of my truck and doing 25mph...you wouldnt believe the wreaks i seen. got to my mtn and snow was drifted in road to cab top and had to use bulldozer to get through next morning.

I was working in WV that spring. Seems I got more than 25 inches of snow... even have a pic of my truck! I remember going out every couple of hours and shoveling/sweeping snow away from my truck. I serviced catscans, it's always an emergency when they break down. Glad that didn't happen, I could have gotten out of the parking lot but would never have made it to Charleston.

after i got through bulldozer section i hit another road and fell in behind a motorgrader headed towards home...he plowed the path ..i got home and was busting snow drifts to headlights on my f-250 pick up...i got to barn lot and snow was pushing to engine hood and died in the road..my dad had tractor out pushing snow to feed our cattle..he said i knew you make it ok with them v-bar chains on....truck had to set awhile before it start..it was new...i think snow got up in around engine and got something wet.

i had went south to friends to drop my hunting dogs off as i was headed west to job site to work.

I think it was March third, definitely in March. We got six inches in two hours and I had to drive home in that crap! the scumbags at World Carpet just would not let us go home!

A search of Alaskan waters is underway in rough weather after a regional airline flight with 10 people on board went missing, according to local and state officials.


The Cessna aircraft, operated by Bering Air, was en route Thursday from Unalakleet to Nome, cities in western Alaska separated by the Norton Sound inlet, according to the Alaska State Troopers. The state police agency was notified at 4 p.m. “an overdue aircraft” had gone missing with nine passengers and a pilot on board, it said in a news release.


The Nome Volunteer Fire Department was conducting ground searches from Nome and White Mountain but was limited in air searches due to poor weather and visibility, it said on Facebook. The US Coast Guard and US Air Force stepped in to help, with flights planned to scope out the area and try to locate the missing aircraft, the department said.

DEER LODGE, Tenn. (WVLT/Gray News) - At least two people were killed when a possible tornado touched down in eastern Tennessee during severe storms that ripped through the area.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said a mother and daughter from the same household were killed in the Deer Lodge and Sunbright areas of Morgan County during a “possible tornado weather event” Thursday night.

They also reported three others were injured. Aaron Evans with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office reported their injuries appear non-life threatening.
