It will warm up here quite a bit next week. Just took Bear out for a pee, brutal winds and everything is covered in little white ice balls!

The winter weather advisory ended at midnight, that's when it started snowing like crazy!! Still snowing at 3 am! Bear went out an hour ago to play in it, he wants to go go again but he's not!! Still 12°!

We got an aditional 2-4" of snow last night, and the temps are single digit. Not supposed to warm up until later in the week, but at least no more snow predicted for a while.

as soon as young and restless is over i will be going outside here at ice station zebra on barsoom and going to mailbox......hoping for a publishers clearing house check for a few million so i can fly south

Talked to my dad on the phone today. I told him about our horrible weather. He replied that we are all wimpy nowadays and when he was a kid, they still had an outhouse to go to , and a pee pot under the bed for at night. He told me the pee pot was frozen in the morning in winter LOL

44.6 degrees F. and pouring down a deluge of warm rain. Dang! The rain has just gone and melted all the remaining snow cover that was on the peaks of the surrounding mountains. That is not good at all.

All my poor confused bulbous or rhizomatous plants are coming up - garlic, tulips, daffs, snowdrops, crocus, iris, lily of the valley, bluebells ......
