Good.....I don't even have to trek down to the mailbox.

There will be temps and substitutes all up and down the chain of command and few experienced commanders in place to take decisive action.

Yeah, but Trump is not a newbie and they all know it. I'm sure he already has all his people in place. I think they'll march right into their offices and take immediate command. An attack is still a possibility, but I think if an enemy wanted to attack us they would have done it during the last 4 years when nobody (er...I mean obummer) was at the helm.

I'm more concerned with Trumps safety than ours.

Well, if you do watch it and something happens, you will be able to say you saw it. And hopefully it will be nothing more than hillary's hat blowing off in the wind.

Wouldn't it be awesome if DJT had the FBI or capital police take that witch into custody (on live TV) and LOCK HER UP immediately after taking the oath! Ha.....now that would be HUGE! Talk about MUST SEE TV! I don't expect that to happen, but I think this might be a year where expectations are tossed out the window.

Inauguration falls on MLK holiday. Popcorn and beer will be on hand. Starting at noon, NBC, ABC, CBS and PBS will be airing coverage.

My friends got tickets to the inauguration as well as the "former balls" afterwards. They had one ticket left and offered it to me, but the $800 plane fare, the $800 hotel room, and the 20 degree temps caused me to decline the offer.

I think you probably made a wise decision.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be within 100 miles of that place on that day. I'm just fine watching it all on TV all cozy at home with NO stress. Besides, Dave says we're having a party!
