Not sure Top...will see after the wife puts a few miles on it.

:D

I'd venture a guess at 27-28 or so around town, and 30-32 highway.

Heck, my Jeep gets 30 on the highway, with the V-6..

Oh, and I'm headed to the LGS. WooHoo!

Was out with the boys shootin' pool and drinking beer / shotz last night...LATE

Woke up and had breakfast...wife was up and out when I got up...probably Christmas shoppin'...

Chillin' today...only thing I did so far was some shopping on-line...pretty much done it all now.

The Christmas Tree will be delivered and set up Friday...decorate it this weekend with our Daughter.

Tomorrow...Range Day Thursday !!

...that's the plan anyway !!

.

I will be working most of the day today but on my breaks the wife and I will be finishing up getting ready for the winter storm coming in tomorrow night.

They are predicting up to a half inch of ice late tomorrow night and then up to 8 inches of snow on Saturday. We will be hibernating inside for a couple of days.

Because of the ice coming in, I'm going to pull out the generator and make sure it is ready to go.

Finishing up a batch of .223, and then break out the other press and run some range 9mm ammo.

Range Day Thursday...!!

Meeting my buddies at 1400...

After the smoke clears...off to the local watering hole for refreshments...!!

:buds:

.

Doing a few errands this morning and then we have our company Christmas party tonight. Hopefully the sleet and ice stays away until late tonight.

Got a 1000 .223 rds done.

Broke out the Lee Pro 1000 press last night and tore it all down, cleaned, lubed and reworked the primer feed tube (iffy from the factory) because of rough plastic edges that hindered the primers from feeding 100% of the time.

Time to run at least 500 9's.

Going to rain heavy for the next 24 hours here with a flash-flood warning.
Went out and trucked in essentials to weather the storm.....

Beer and cigarettes:D.

Was gonna wash the Jeep...but it's only 33 degrees right now.

Still got the whole day ahead of me...so, I'll think of something !!

.

Having an early dinner then decorating the Christmas Tree...

Wrapped all the gifts I bought last night...

Chillin' right now...

.

I worked most of the day today.

Came home, opened a Corona and sat down by the fire and watching the Dallas Cowboys game. They won in overtime.

Watched the Saint's win their game.
Watched the "America's Favorite Heroes", The Rams lose their game. Since the announcers are so biased and go on continuously about how superior the Rams are in every way, it was really sweet to hear them choking up. (everybody knew, the Rams were going to win this game easily:D)
For those not playing along, the heavily favored (and they are the greatest, just ask anybody:rolleyes:) LA Rams dropped 2 spots in the playoff and guess who is the number one seed in the playoffs?

Those smelly guys from down south, The New Orleans Saints:eek:.

Supposed to get a haircut today and shop for a computer monitor. After 10 years and thousands of hours of operation, my monitor finally got where (like me) it had trouble waking up in the morning:pokestick:. It was pronounced dead today at 10AM:cry::comp bullet:.
But brutally cold temperatures, (53 degrees:eek: and a wind) have forced me to postpone going out.
So I'm getting by with a backup monitor (a huge 15" diagonal:rolleyes:) until the weather breaks.
Web pages look like this:

Well it warmed up enough for me to venture out and get stuff done.
Got a good haircut. (last one didn't last a month:mad:).
Went to Best Buy and picked up a new monitor for my PC.
Really wanted a Samsung. They had a nice 24" curved Samsung monitor, but it didn't have a VGA input.
Oh, but the 27" did (which I don't have enough room for).... for about $300:eek:. Bastards.

So I got a 23" Acer for really cheap. It's 1920x1080 which is better than I can see, and it looks great.
Also tossed in a new Logitech mouse for $9.99 The old one had about 300,000 miles on it and over 6 years had the rubber on the side worn thru to the plastic.
I consider them disposable anyway in case I dump a drink on it and short it out. I managed to launder 2 BB gift-cards that were more than 5 years old to knock the final price down from $185 to $125.
Picked up 8 pieces of fried chicken for $5.99 and 2 pints of 'tater-salad and fed the tribe when I got home. (retired people know how to shop!) Delicious!

Whew! It's gonna take 3 days of screwing off to make up for this much productivity!:ROLF:
Gimme a beer!:drinking:

Picked up my new glasses (actually new lenses in my good frames) today. Caught me off guard coming in about a week early.
My eyes had changed and I had stopped wearing them a couple months ago because I could see better at distance without them than with them.
I only wore them when I had to read something.
Of course the new lenses are fantastic and I have the vision of a 16-year-old again.
The problem is, the brain now has to be re-calibrated.
I got so used to seeing crappy, everything now is too sharp and detailed.
It's like wearing ear muffs for a couple hours straight and when you take them off, everybody is talking too loud:bang Head:.

Oh, and right now I'm debating a liberal on another forum about taxing text messages in California..............................sigh.

I feel dumber now, lol.
