What can you use for the saucy part of it? When husband's on a diet, I use nonfat yogurt and Dijon mustard and some spices (instead of the mayo). Or can you use mayo?
I know you can use the juice from canned chickpeas to make mayo with. That way its vegan

Today I'm making baked crab cakes, baked potatoes, sauted kale and swiss chard with onions and garlic in olive oil. also added just a little chicken broth to steam them a little

I use homemade mayo most of the time, but sometimes I use Helmann's. Fats are very important, especially if one is on a diet. Fat satiates appetite and provides an improve steady metabolism. Pretty much everything you will every ready about dietary fat is wrong, bought and paid for by the companies who sell low fat (and very unhealthy) products.

I made lasagna early in the day. Salad with that. Now I'm hungry again.
Fruit for snack. Wish I had popsicles, @MoBookworm1957
I am experimenting with grand daughter.
We make kool aide, place it in funny shape ice trays, with sucker sticks in them.
I control the sugar she gets at my house.
I like then a bit tart and so does she.
I make up sugar free ice cubes up too with sucker sticks in them.
She helps Granny quite a bit.

I used to do that with juice, @MoBookworm1957 when the kids were littler. Thanks for the reminder.
The minions have been told what they're fixing, provided with supplies. Let's see how that goes. Already the crockpot timing has been missed, so I hope the timing gets better. I'm hoping for chicken and Greek salad, maybe wild rice.

I did Creamy Chicken with Cornbread, yesterday was Potato casserole with Ham. . . tomorrow hunny will either have to cook or he will be eating leftovers. I am good with either. I will be going back to work tomorrow night. . . I really hate that it effects two days. Most days I am up early regardless if I work overnight shift. Those days I am lucky to sleep an hour to get ready for a new day and get back to normal. . . Some days I run on empty all day. But yet keep moving forward. . .

I'm making turkey meatball subs today.
I have 3lbs of ground turkey I have to use up so I plan on making lots of meatballs and then freezing some for later meals

Does anyone else brown their meatballs and then finish them in the oven? 400 degrees for about 25-30 mins

My wife does it that way. I refuse to make meatballs. I just make small fat patties and broil them. Tastes them same just less work.

Tonight is patio night, so we are all eating outside. I am going to make ground beef patties (topped with swiss cheese) with mushrooms & onions sauteed in the cast iron skillet. Wife is going to make sweet potato fries.

Baked chicken and cauliflower

Last night we had grilled German sausage, grilled squash, and grilled brussel sprouts. Getting my money's worth out of the grill. ;)

Tonight I am making something new; Hobo Fajitas (or that's what we are calling them for now). I am putting sliced chicken, bell peppers, jalapenos, onions, black beans, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a aluminum foil pouches and grilling them.
