Last night we had meatloaf, steamed asparagus, and mashed potatoes, tonight we are either having pork stir-fry or leftovers....

It's not likely that I'll be home for dinner tonight, so I'll probably get something on the road. Should be home before breakfast though.

Last night I made smoked sausage in sauerkraut, fried cabbage and onions. I don’t know about tonight. I STILL don’t have a functioning oven or cooktop. And I’m STILL recovering from COVID.

It was Mothers Day here yesterday, so the girls cooked a turkey breast (couldn't find a whole one to buy!) and small ham with veg. There's enough left for a ham dinner for one, and I'll make leftover turkey curry for everyone else.

MY OVEN AND COOKTOP IS FIXED! I can bake things in the oven now and not have to use the electric skillet. I’m so excited. We celebrated by cooking a frozen pizza. . Maybe I’ll make a casserole tonight.

Last night I made pork chops with sauerkraut and onions, corn on the cob I had in the freezer and baked potatoes.

I cooked a chicken yesterday, made and froze gravy and stock afterwards. Half the chicken was used for enchiladas last night, and today it's 'get you own'; the girls are planning some chicken and pasta.
I've a pot of veg soup on the pot belly, using up all the parsnip, carrots and onions that were looking dodgy, and veg peeled and chopped for tomorrows dinner, not sure with what yet. I picked up some cooking magazines from the library, and I'm tempted to try something out of them, but really not in the mood either that kind of day.

Last night I made a spaghetti squash and shredded it. Italian sausage spaghetti sauce, a salad and garlic bread. Tonight might be left overs.

Looks like we're having salad with chicken for dinner.

Guess I need one, been about a week since I last had one. I put lettuce, celery, carrots, onion, red & green peppers, jalapeno pepper, radishes, cucumber, croutons, shredded cheese, and glazed walnuts ... still thinking about what dressing ...

Beer & Cheese soup. It was delicious. And full of vegetables I don't like.

Just outside propane grilled hamburgers and air fryer made fries here. That is the standard meal that the wife wants before she runs off to play ice hockey later in the evening. Carbs, protein and fat. Not a vegetable or fruit in sight, I might add. Her games are usually only once per week (although she played last night as well this week), so we can survive on such an unhealthy meal at that frequency. Luckily her game last night was early, and we ate later, after the game. Eggs, waffles and grilled ham. Hey, wait a minute! That was carbs and protein too (not much fat though). With no vegetables or fruit in sight. Hmmm... OK, I'll have do better on the cooking tomorrow.

Just had dinner when I got home. Salami and swiss on a bread roll my cousin made. A small bowl of egg custard. Had some homemade peanut butter cookies from my neighbor a bit earlier.
