Seafood salad, cottage cheese, and some strawberry ice cream. Too hot and humid for cooking.

I stopped to get ice cream on wed and the store was sold out. They had frozen yogurt and Herbert but no ice cream. My ice cream maker is packed up somewhere and I'm seriously thinking of buying another one....

@Terri9630 you know there are recipes for homemade ice cream using only 3 ingredients without a machine

We had soup and sandwiches last night.
Today is saturday, I don't cook so it'll be take-out today of some kind

My sleep is so screwed up I have been eating large breakfasts and lunches, just a slice of melon or something light for dinner... I haven't eaten breakfast regularly for years...

My breakfasts have been yummy! Peaches, loads of fresh veggies and melons. I broke down and bought something I shouldn't have... Prosciutto, something I've never tried and see on the tv cooking shows. It was $7 for a few ounces in a pack.

For those who don't know... Prosciutto is nothing but really salty ham surrounded by a lot of nothing but hype. What a rip off! It's probably packaged in New Jersey.

So sad, the last of the sweet corn is finally gone. :(

I've been making a lot of crustini's for breakfast, sometimes lunch.

Yesterday we had cheese steaks and macaroni salad ( thanks bacpacker lol)

Today I have a pork roast in the crockpot. I've been marinating it for 2 days in teriyaki sauce/marinade. Plan on having rice and steamed broccoli to go with it

Tonight was BBQ and garden veggies and the best garlic toast I've every made.:)

I've tried every type of garlic press, shaver, chopper, you name it. Nothing ever worked well. I'd get a lumpy, chunky or stringy mess, nothing that ever mixed well with the food I was trying to cook, until now.

I decided to try one of these ceramic graters after seeing professional chefs us them on cooking shows. It's the best thing since sliced bread. In 20 seconds it will turn a clove of garlic into a paste you could spread like butter on bread. No more lumps, chunks or a stringy mess.

The little ceramic points aren't sharp enough to cut you but will shred any root herb like ginger, another problem herb...

It's 3.5 inches in diameter, the depression around the points will also collect liquid from the root herb of your choice. I recommend this little gem to anyone.

I don't know if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner but it was "I need to take a nap yummy!" Crustinis... the last of the over priced salty ham, serrano peppers and smoked mozzarella. I sliced and fried up some fresh squash... Strawberries and sour cream to cut the salt.
