Beef soup and sweet jerky.
Presuming the lady wakes up in time, we are going out! The place is serving a 3 course meal with each course having 3 different options and 3 different wine pairings.
It's looking like the "my version" of beef stroganoff!!
Dark chocolate. I have a minor cold; the first in more than eight years. No appetite. Chocolate fixes everything.
Thanks Pearl, but this bug is a nothing burger. Just an excuse to break out the chocolate.

Chuck roast mixed with baby bella mushrooms, beef broth, green kale, mirin (Japanese spiced wine), soy sauce, and zucchini. The veggies are more of a filler and they absorb the flavor of everything else so they don't taste like veggies anymore. I used garlic bread to soak it up too.
Undecided. it's just fuel.

Grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, and broccoli.

Had a huge meal on the mtn. Stopped and picked up some bbq on the way home.
1 Hard boiled egg-chopped
1/2 cup hot spicy shrimp
1 large leaf of kale slivered
1 cup of homemade vegetable broth
1 package of UDON noodles.
Everything simmered together until hot.
Light dinner after last nights dinner and this mornings breakfast.

I cooked another turkey today for freezer lunch meat, so we had turkey, baked potato, green beans, fruit, and a baked zucchini with a bit of olive oil and melted mozzarella on it.
I am cooking brunch but I am not cooking dinner. I am going to order something in. Not sure what yet. Something warm.
We settled on pizza. Now for a 2 hour discussion to figure out which place to order from.
While i have all the fixin's in the fridge i'm gonna fry some catfish, make a nice salad.
No clue
But I am smoking a pork loin in the barrel smoker now.
Will it be done in time for supper probably not.

I bought these spice dispensers a few weeks ago from the big internet store. Now that I’ve used them for a while I can say I really like them.
Old Bay seasoning prompted this purchase. Once opened the container will never stay closed again. I eat a lot of fish and shrimp and like old bay seasoning. The spice still gets stale quickly. I dislike throwing away half full containers and buying new ones.
So… these stainless steel containers have a magnetic bottom which I don’t need. But the top is opaque so I can see the spice inside, no need to label them. They have a pour slot or I can choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 holes for shaking out spices.
I grow and grind several spices so they’ve proven to be a good purchase. Easy to clean and top fits snugly. I recommend them.. especially since old bay cans that never close!
