Jack Reacher...good movie, but the books are better.

Jack Reacher is 6'5" with blonde hair, rugged face and a massive figure and intimidates people just by his looks. He can cave an opponent's face with one blow of his massive fist, and his signature move is a downward head butt on the bridge of his opponent's nose.
He is supposed to look like Dolf Lundgren (6' 4 1/2" at his peak):
Not ANYTHING like Tom Cruise (5' 7")

All these cartoons are available en mass from archive.org......I've got about 10 GB worth stored away of the old Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, etc., and there are tons more to download (all for free). They also have The Three Stooges, Abbott & Costello, etc.
The movies are fun action movies and the first one was pretty close to the book it was based on. The second one. . . not so much. The books are definitely better.
When I first read a Jack Reacher book, I had never watched the movie. I had seen Lundgren movies though, and yes, that's who I imagined (I often tend to imagine book characters as actors based on their descriptions). Me too. I just started S4 yesterday. I'm very impressed with the meticulous detail they use in portraying zero G, and the laws of physics. The writing, acting, directing, etc. are superb too.

More on why 5'7" Tom Cruise is just wrong for Jack Reacher.
Lee Child (real name James Grant) said that he chose the name Reacher for the central character in his novels because he himself is tall (6'4") and when they were grocery shopping his wife Jane remarked: "'Hey, if this writing thing doesn't pan out, you could always be a reacher in a supermarket.' ...
