I'll not post spoilers. :)

OK, I give. What is that???

Going back to "Bewitched," and "I dream of Jeannie."

Just finish watching a movie 'Where Have All the People Gone?' 1974 with Peter Graves (I never heard of this movie) I watched it on Amazon Prime but found a free link to watch it but quality isn't as good as on Amazon but free https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6pouwf

It deals with solar flare, the impact on earth regarding electricity, impact on vehicles, looting store shelves etc..., the general natural disaster low budget film, people complain they are from the city and have no idea of country life as they collect other survivors along the way, at one point a man told a young kid from country, "did I hook this up right, I'm from the city". But, then comes the scifi aspect of it, people got vaporized from the solar flare, animal gone mad.

Movie deals with a lot of what we discuss here but be prepared, you will be screaming "ARE YOU XXXXXX STUPID" type of thing. It is kindly slow and a few OMG moments, and for the men, No, there are no nudity scenes in the movie.

Try watching the New Zealand made film Quiet Earth, Another good one is No Blade Of Grass ( Death of grass in the US I think)

It was No Blade of Grass here too. It made a huge impression on me.
The book was Death of Grass, but was serialized in the Saturday Evening Post as No Blade of Grass, so many people read the book under that name.

Dont forget the EXCELLENT original BBC TV series Day of the Triffids from the early 70s not the crap Remake, and of course SURVIVORS the 70s version.

We are about to start all of the Tolkien movies again in chronological order but for something different we watched Austin Powers and Flint movies. What a difference 25 years made. Flint was serious and classy while Austin Powers was vulgar and silly.

Now we are ready for the 30 or so hours if Tolkien.
