I don't think it would matter who was arrested or which party was in office. The "other" side simply would not believe the narrative, regardless of evidence.

I believe one side has the majority of the firearms and the other side has the toilet paper.

I'm expecting arrests and violence but I'm in Texas where everybody and their dog has a gun. Militias are being organized all across the state although I don't know anything about those things. I don't know anybody who has joined one. I don't know anybody with a gun. I don't know nothing.

However, back in early summer, a few folks did wander down here and tried to get a protest organized. They had a parade down a business street and other than some of the participants spitting and calling out foul language at the observers, it was peaceful. The police and SWAT were stationed all along the street. Every business owner was on his rooftop - openly armed and ready to respond to the first brick. Down here the castle law is king and attacking someone's business is like attacking their home. Some people did post pictures on Facebook but FB took them down almost as fast as they were posted.

The socialists are already planning to send Trump supporters to concentration camps re-education centers even as Antifa/BLM violence peaceful protests continue unreported by the media. It seems likely that the arrest scenario will come to fruition to some extent regardless of which side emerges victorious but I think the socialists are underestimating the power of the people. If they do succeed in installing Kamala Biden as their POTUS in name only they will be facing a backlash far bigger than they expect. All those people in this country who didn't vote will be the first in line to complain when their boat gets rocked by reality and all that anger the far left has been stirring up will be turned back on them.

Whatever happens, I have fortified my home with prayer and provisions. I will continue to top off my supplies as long as possible and should be good to go until late spring/ early summer. I'm in no way a gardener but even I can grow enough squash and green beans to feed half the state if I have to. So what would I do if I heard of massive arrests? I'm already doing it.

If there were any kind of widespread roundup of individuals that the masses thought innocent (regardless if they actually were or not), I think those doing the rounding up would start discovering bullet holes in their shirts fairly soon. If the government is not following the law, there's not a whole lot of reasons for citizens to either.

Trade that old Mosin sitting in your closet for their toilet paper. Tell them the internal magazine in the Mosin holds 500 rounds, and it's full. Find some bent up piece of scrap metal in your spare parts box and give that to them, mentioning that it's the "full auto adapter" for the Mosin. They probably heard all this on CNN already, so they'll believe you.

According to what I see they have been planning for decades for any resistance we can give them. Even brought in foreign special forcestroops. And all many Americans did was clap and celebrate the show they put on.
I thought it was against the law for ANY foreign armies to be here much less plan to kill Americans who don't comply.

OK.........pretend there was a national election, and there was mid and upper level corruption in that election, in many states. And pretend the FBI was making a lot of arrests, in a lot of states, for corruption, and maybe even insurrection. Here for example is three city officials arrested. So for this thread pretend something like this but in many cities and states.

What if this really turned out to be huge.....??? Asking from a prepping point of view. For the purpose of this thread.......it matters not why. Just that to your surprise, thousands have been arrested overnight, and hundreds are still being sought.

How would you react, what if anything would you do.......as it would relate to your desire to be prepared for the next 2 to 6 months.

Well, if this has to do with criminals being arrested overnight.....I'm all for it. What would I do? Probably have a party. At that point it would probably be too late to invest more in the market, so I've already done that. I don't necessarily think that this will happen, but it would be great if it did. If we could clear the swamp monsters out of our system, then I think our economy would bouce back in a big way.

Around my area, I wouldn't expect any chaos to erupt. Bad people going to jail isn't a bad thing. The only ones who would riot over that would be more bad people. So, go ahead......then they can go where their idols have gone. If their idols have been shipped to Gitmo, then I highly doubt their crowd would cause much fuss b/c the money trail would have run dry. If nobody is going to pay them to riot, then they're not gonna riot.

From a standpoint of being prepared for it. I guess I'm already as prepared as I'm going to get for pretty much anything or nothing at all. Things could get bumpy from here on thru to Jan 20th over the election. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm certain snow and temperatures will fall. Freezers are full, TP is stocked, gifts are bought.....so whatever happens, happens.
