Oh geesh, Angie nrs, I could just mail you some funyons
Here in Minnesota the Kwik Trip convenience store across from my hotel has more chips than Walmart...Our Texas Sam's club was out of all things 'chip like'!
First, I don't mean this as kids should suffer (just to be clear).I know that there are some schools here in WV that have shortages of food to feed the kids

“Some of the items are just not available,” Hess told MetroNews affiliate WMOV Radio in Ravenswood.
Pork, bacon, sausage, chicken and breakfast cereal are just some of the items they’ve had trouble receiving.
The low supply is now impacting future meal planning, Hess said.
“It causes some havoc with our posted menus. We usually plan those out a month in advance, so there are some last minute changes based on an availability of supplies,” he said.
Hess said they’ve have had to rework breakfast and lunch options for students depending on what deliveries they get.
“It’s almost like a roulette game where you order things and then you’re kind of surprised at what comes in when the truck arrives,” he said.

Actually I think there's still time for those who are just now waking up but they better get after it. You can still go into a store without the vax passport and there is still stock on the shelves. They may have to spend wayyyyy more on food than most of us did while stocking up slowly and while things were on sale, but there is still some time to try and get what they can (while they still can). Although, I think time is short. Heck, I'm still plugging holes when I find them. If it all goes south soon, I'm sure there's going to be things I don't have that I didn't think about. It's a little late to think "I better stock up"!
For home schooling, in Ohio, it's just for your kids. Check your state to see the requirements/limitations. Seems taking other students would make you a "private school" , with potentially different requirements.I am trying to prep for the not being allowed in a store. This is a good time not to be young. It's harder to do the work but I don't need supplies to last as long.
It is almost impossible to stock or think of everything that might be needed for modern life. If the current situation becomes a non peaceful version or involves camps, it could all be for naught.
I have already had suttle inquiries about my personal home/school being used as a home school by people who don't want their kids vaxed (they are pushing for 5-11 yrs. starting in November). Now there is a conundrum.
My oldest son is overnight lead(support manager) he has 6 people to unload, stock shelves all night for a medium size store. My youngest son is Consumables coach(Assistant manager), and he lives in College town- no help.It sounds like they/WM is short on help to stock shelves, maybe tonight they can move the stuff to shelves.
I was thinking that myself.Oh geesh, Angie nrs, I could just mail you some funyons
We must get what can get!Today I hit 4 stores looking for some of the salt free seasonings, each store had 1 kind and was out of the others, none of them had the one the wife wanted.
I also noticed that the W-M didn't have any of the larger containers of drinking water, they had some flats of bottled water, but not a lot. They did have raman noodles in chicken and beef. I was able to find my canned fruit.. and now I have enough on the shelf to have 2 cans a week.
The one grocery store had whole chickens in stock, a small young whole chicken $8....
