We're watching Yellowstone season 4, too.
I loved the Wartime Farm series and that was the first I watched. Then got the book. Then watched the 40's house. I have not seen the victorian farm, will have to look for that.

I've been around a lot of mean, nasty, disagreeable critters in my life... but nothing tops a camel! I'd rather give a grizzly bear a prostate exam than deal with one. They are in a league all their own. Alpaca's are almost as bad, minor league team though. Old joke, "Where do they get suicide bombers in the middle east? The camel herders volunteer!" Most people don't really get that joke... unless they've been around a camel.

Watched "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" the other night, a Bogart film. I haven't seen it in years.

Funny, I realized something watching Humphrey Bogart do his thing. The man has a horse face, very long. From his chin to his hair line is about an inch or so longer than most people. I paid close attention to scenes with just him and another actor. His face is huge. It made him great on film. His face was expressive, bigger than life... because his face really was bigger!

Man on Fire (2004 Movie).
Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning, Christopher Walken

Former assassin becomes bodyguard. Kid kidnapped. Bad people do bad things. Bodyguard turns vigilante...and vigilante starts dispensing serious justice.

I love a movie in which the bad guys get their due. This one is violent but good.

Dakota Fanning was so young in that movie. I like when people get was is due to them, but I am not a fan of violence.

You might not like this one, then. I watched it on AMC, and I got the impression that they cut out the worst parts of a few violent scenes...and there was still some pretty graphic violence and torture scenes. The only "good" news is, every single bad guy deserved what they received.

I liked the movie even though it was over the top violent. I 1st saw it on a movie channel that plays uncut/no commercials. It did get extremely graphic in a few spots.

Isn't there a tv series based on that movie now?

Finished the Soprano's box set last night. The "Pine Barrens" is still my favorite episode, so funny! At the end of the day... it's scary to think there are people like them in society. Cold blooded murderers that kill for no real reason and don't think twice about it. And they got away with it!

Needed something humors so tonight I'm watching the 1st season of "My name is Earl". It makes me laugh, so dumb.. but I like the 3 stooges! The show is sort of like the 3 stooges were living in a cheap motel in 1990.

The bloopers on the dvd's are great also... it's amazing they got anything done besides laugh.

Nothing on today... went out looking at plants instead. Watched a car race this evening, pretty good.

Started watching the 2nd season of My name is Earl. Joy went to jail tonight... soon to be followed by...

A Russian WWII film called "Come and see" If this move don't make you want to cry, you have no soul!
It should have been labeled as a horror story, but it actually happened!
COME AND SEE | ENGLISH SUBTITLES - YouTube
NOT for kids or overly sensitive people, its pure nightmare fuel on turbo, little gore, but the realizations humans did this to each other.....

There is a new show on the history channel, “Lost Gold of the Aztecs”. It’s interesting, the premise... To keep Cortez from stealing a legendary hoard of gold, the Aztecs hid it. Actually hid it where most of it came from, the American southwest. 3 families (whose ancestors were treasure hunters) are searching the southwest in different locations. They have state of the art equipment, these folks are well funded.

I saw the first episode last week. Tonight the 2nd one just ended. It comes on after Oak Island, another well funded treasure hunting show. I enjoy the technical aspect, some old equipment, some new. A lot about geology, another science I enjoy. Heck, once I spent 49 days prospecting in the mountains.

What I don't like about these shows is the breathless narration. Like tonight, listing to the narrator I was sure they found Montezuma's gold bed pan... Instead it was a 50yrold pocket knife somebody dropped... Or breaking away from the show to run a promo commercial... About the Show!!!!! Dummies!

If you like Batman, there's "Batman Ninja"
Non stop, in your face anime, all your favorite heroes and villains, the action hits like a speeding truck off an ice covered hill and never lets up!
