Guys, I am so bloody pissed right now! I just got informed by the DoHS that my bunker, my store of food, water, weapons, ammunition, and EVERYTHING I had in place and was in the process of finishing up has been demolished!!! Here is the reason given:

The land that I built it on had been condemed by the goverment!!!

It was stated to me that such preperations as I had made were and I ******* quote, 'Uncalled for and served only to cause people to think that their goverment is unable to protect and provide for them.' NO ******* ****!!! Why do they think I had all that **** in the FIRST DAMN PLACE!!!!

THEY TOOK ALL MY EFFORTS AND WORK AND BLEW THEM THE HELL UP!!!! AND THEY REFUSE TO PAY ME FOR IT ALL BECAUSE IT WAS ON CONDEMDED LAND!!!!! LAND THAT THEY CONDEMDED SO THEY COULD DO WITH IT AS THEY PLEASED!!! I swear to God, that is the last damn straw!!! I'm going to find some place so deep in the bloody desert that nobody has been there since forever and build another damn bunker there!!!!

Just a heads up guys, don't let them do the same crap to you!!

Phoenix my friend, I am so sorry that this has happened. What earthly reason did they give for the land to be condemned? This was your own land, right? If so and you think that they condemned it just to get you to sell out, I would make that land so damned damaged it would cost them out the ass to fix it for their use. Sorry I've been gone lately guys been dealing with all this ****.

In answer to the question why did they condemn it? They said that the soil toxicity levels were too high. And now that the land is condemded I can't go and get a soil annalysis done cause I'd be trespassing. And yes, this was my own personal land bought and paid for.

I had a lawyer look over everything and what it came down to is that I'm screwed. I can file a complaint and maybe an appeal, but ultimately I'm SOL. Damn I'm not happy about this and the more it goes on the more pissed I get.

Did they notify you prior to condemning the land?

No they aren't coming back online for me. And yes, after they seized my property they had such a hell of a time trying to get into it they decided it would be easier to blow it open and it basically destroyed EVERYTHING inside and rendered the bunker useless.

And yes, the bunker and everything was set up for quite some time. I bought the land 5 years ago and started building my bunker and storing my supplies and such over the past five years. When I first bought the land I had all the standard checks done on it and there were no contiaminants at all. And there is nothing nearby that could account for it either so I think they are full of ****. And it isn't anywhere near where I currently live. Driving, it is about 7 hours from my current residence. It's up in the mountains and there isn't really anyone nearby for damn near 8-9 miles. The cabin that was built there used to be a hunting cabin back in the day and the previous owner had died and his kids were selling it so I bought it. No restrictions on building or needing permits, nothing.

All told I've lost right at 300k with this little fiasco... Shoot

I don't know about where you live but here trespassing is merely a misdemeanor. Of course "federal land" maybe different. What would they really do should you go there and grab some soil samples?

Trepassing on 'federal land' is not a good idea. I'm sure they could throw the good ole Patriot Act at me if I did. And even if I got the samples and proved they were full of **** they would say I had them doctored or some other bull and then pull out 500 sheets of how toxic the land really is. My lawyer told me that it wouldn't be a good idea to mess with this. If he went up against them he said he could be certain of only one thing. That I would pay him a crapload of money and not change one damn thing.

Lol once my dad & step moms car broke down in the middle of nowhere I think it was in Tennessee or Mississippi they were on a road trip,anyway no cell signal & they started walking after about 30 mins they saw a fenced pasture and crossed the fence hoping they would come to a farm.Instead they were met by a bunch of men dressed in swat gear,pointing guns at them.They had to lay on the ground.The guards or whatever they are didn't believe them.They said "Didn't you see the no trespassing signs?" No they didn't because they went through the fence not the gate.My stepmom says it bugs her not knowing what they were doing at this place,the only thing they saw was hundreds of ponds.
