Not just rumors, but word from their top. You can blame our open border policy for what may be happening.

Yeah, I thought this was a Solid analysis of 'what Happened' (..and 'How could it', given Mossad / the (usually) super-alert / ready IDF..)

🤔

Here's a post of the Text, for those who 'don't Do X':

"Factor 1: Israel has built a formidable set of fortifications on the border with Gaza. However, fortifications are useless without people to man them. A political decision was taken to deploy almost the entire combat force to the West Bank. In particular…

…the Gaza division, responsible for safeguarding the Gaza region had been redeployed. This left the border almost unguarded. Manpower was further drained by…

Factor 2: Of the few remaining soldiers, many had been released home for the holidays, leaving only a skeleton crew defending. This was made even worse by…

Factor 3: Standard Operation Procedure at Israeli bases called for soldiers to take shelter during rocket attacks. With the soldiers in bunkers, nobody was manning the perimeter and soldiers were turned into sitting ducks. Hamas took advantage by…

Factor 4: In advance of the invasion, Hamas fired a massive salvo of rockets as a distraction and suppressing fire. They used this diversion as cover for…

Factor 5: Hamas blinded Israel in two ways. Large numbers of drones and explosives were used to destroy the extensive array of electronic detection systems that were supposed to offer early warning. Then they breached the barriers and moved on eight forward bases…

Factor 6: A first and primary target in these forward bases were communications equipment. Destroying these, Hamas took out significant parts of the IDF command and control system, plunging the area into the fog of war. They sowed further confusion by…

Factor 7: Hamas launched multiple diversion attacks at sea and, using parachute gliders by air. They also attacked and slaughtered civilians further sowing chaos. Finally…

Factor 8: It appears that Hamas used civilian protesters as cover to plant explosives by the border fence. These were then used to breach the fence during the assault. "

---- ..All of-which I think (which, is 'worth' Precisely Nothing, as Only My Opinion..) sounds pretty rational / believable, but.. Still, I had This Same ??? in My own mind (one of the Commenters, to this 'Yago's post..)

"How come Mossad and secret services missed that? Israel with all its military might and surveillance tech missed such a massive operation? Hard to believe.."

Yeah - What about all the 'chatter' (even if 'coded') on social-networks / cell-calls / various 'Mosque-underbelly channels', etc (you know - the Same Way We / other Spec Ops groups, have successfully Nailed BGs in the ME, in past, with Intel gathered by CIA / NSA / Drone-surveillance / Local-assets, etc) - you mean to tell us that NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING?? 🤔 I.. find that, well.. Let's just say, 'Color me Incredulous'..

Regardless, one of the Most Solid points this 'Yago' made, IMO, was what I Bolded, above:

"..This left the border almost unguarded." Yep, and What do we have, Here?? IMO, it is NO 'accident' Nor just 'B-But Diversity is Our Strength' bull 💩 It's High Treason, IMO..

In summary, again - Regardless of Any (maybe) 'intelligence / security-forces failures', what 'what-Happened' underscores is that Strong National Security starts with a Strongly Fortified, and Actively Protected Border. Not just 'observation', but Enabled, and Backed-up Enforcement.

'Mayorkas' should be... 🤬 Well, I best not say it.

Stay frosty, Folks.

I hope the world can see this for what it is. It's an incitement of violence for the sake of violence. It will accomplish nothing. Hopefully even the muslims who live here can see that. Why would you put your security, family, belongings, freedoms, and life in danger b/c some man told you to? I'm hoping calm and rational heads will prevail on that day and it will be a big nothingburger.

I'll do what I planned to do on Friday. This does not change anything for me. I will however make sure I'm carrying an extra paper puncher if I'm not home.

We have elevated to condition yellow, I suspect we will go orange before Friday because of our proximity to Dearborn.

Get used to the "tension".

In talking to the guys and gals in our eastern district, they are saying the tension in the air is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Many of them live a lot closer than I do to Dearbornistan. I am about an hour west in Central District.

I'll do what I planned to do on Friday.
I have a trip to the range with friends planned. It's our 25 yard indoor range that I normally shoot pistols at (and more recently, air guns). Maybe this time I'll take the .308 and an AK. I've been meaning to take that .308 (with its muzzle brake) to sonicly tame the AR shooters that always seem to end up next to me disturbing my nice quiet air gun marksmanship.

I confess, I panicked this morning. :(
Got up for my morning pee at 6:30am.
Crawling back in the bed, I noticed headlights from a vehicle parked in front of the neighbor's house beside us, so I watched, thinking about this thread:oops:.
It moved down the street and backed up in our driveway; it was a wrecker with all it's lights flashing, it turned around and went back up to the highway.
I could then see blue lights being reflected off the houses across the street coming from a cop car on the highway.
Went out later this morning expecting to see spray paint on houses - everything was normal:).

Well, my daughter got married today. No issues at all. I did lose a mpg or two hauling a few choice guns and 6 magazines...just in case.

I was out and about today and did not see the “rage“. I do live in a religiously diverse area with many orthodox synagogues. i expected to see more security around them. Maybe there was, I don’t know.

I was late to work yesterday. I had to wait for a school full of elementary kids to cross the street. They were on their way back from our high school for an evacuation drill. While I was waiting for them to cross, I was chatting with the cop about it definitely a different time from when I was a kid. Our town has one yeshiva in it and overnight on Wednesday reinforced bollards were installed. I worry more about tomorrow during Shabbat.
