You ever know anyone who was granted "Emancipation"...???

Are you referring to children, they want the parents to back off but kid still lives at home?

There are three types of emancipation: emancipation by marriage, judicial emancipation, and limited emancipation by authentic act.

I worked with a Mexican woman during my time in CA. Her daughter got pregnant at 16 and she let her be emancipated so she could get welfare for herself and the baby.
