Whenever I was in Mexico it was either Corona or Pacifico. Both are fairly good beers. However, in some of the cantinas off of the beaten tourist paths, the typical beer was Tecate served at room temperture, somewhere around 110 deg F

Corona. But since they named the China flu after Corona it's been hard to find around here. Next choice is Hamms and PBR. I'm more of a Scotch drinker but will drink beer on occasion.

I never got used to the taste of beer. Even in my teens I couldn't stand the taste. Bourbon was my drink of choice followed by gin and then vodka. I only have a drink a couple of times a year so normally a glass has me quite drunk. I do however keep a stock of wines, scotch, bourbons and other hard drinks as part of my preps because they could come in handy for barter.

I'm partial to malty red ale. There aren't many here however. The closest thing in the supermarket is Killian's Irish Red. In Arlington VA where my kids live there is an Irish pub that has Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale. I would drink that if I could get it.

When people talk about alcohol, they try to say that they drink "very little," otherwise their opponents will suspect they are algoholism.
------
Let's try to understand this topic.
People live in cities, villages, townships and individually.
1. People who live in cities, have good wages and all the comforts of life, but they are not satisfied with their jobs.
Therefore, it is normal for a city person to "have a little beer after work, then some strong alcohol on Friday"
-------
2. People who live in the village or hermits cannot afford alcohol "a little every day or on Friday", as they are busy with hard physical work.
These people, as a rule, get drunk rarely and very hard if they have finished serious work.
------
3. People who live in townships (midle, between City and Village), as a rule, are more susceptible to alcoholism, since they do not have a good salary and amenities, as in the city, and do not have serious jobs, as in the village.

About me. I am half Norwegian, half Finn on my paternal side, Udmurt on my maternal side.
I was born and raised in the USSR
. ----
I lived in the European part of the USSR:
- Russian Federation, Caucasus (Black Sea), Moldova, Ukraine, Ural, Karelia, Moscow ...
---
Besides..
I was in Europe: Bulgaria, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Holland, France.
---
I lived in America
- Florida, Miami and North Carolina, Jacksonville.

Therefore, I am sure that alcohol consumption is different in City and Village
This is for all countries!

---
1. Beer.
Personally, I don't like beer, because after beer you become a "bag of ****". 😳 I want to sleep, but not work.
----
2. Wine.
I like red semi-sweet wine with barbecue or dry white wine with fish. Wine made in Bulgaria or Moldova.
I don't like French wines
----

3. Vodka.
I am a country person, so I can drink a lot of vodka with a snack.
I do this when I finish a big, serious work.
Just drinking vodka is not interesting, since there is no reason ...

4. Cognac.
I love cognac and Cuban cigars. But this is very expensive.
----
5. Moonshine.
I love moonshine, but I have not drunk this drink for 20 years, since I have no friends who know how to make this drink.

Cocktail, mixing alcohol with juices or other alcohol ...
that's how Americans drink, so they get drunk quickly.
Russians never mix algogol!!!
We drink alcohol, then we eat a snack. The snack protects the stomach from the rapid penetration of alcohol, so a Russian can drink more than an American.

----
Besides..
Foreigners know 2 Russian cocktails:
- "ruff" (a mixture of beer with vodka)
- "Northern Lights" (a mixture of vodka with champagne or sparkling wine)
... But, In fact, these 2 cocktails are invented by alcoholics to get drunk faster. 🤣

Hey Selivan, don't forget Kvas.
I started making it recently - love it.

I do not forget.
Kvass is a non-alcoholic drink !!!
Which Russians drink in hot summer. In
winter, kvass is not interesting.
------
Kvass is a product of bread fermentation. Like Kefir, it contains lactic acid bacteria. It's good for the stomach.
-----
To get drunk, you must drink about 150 liters (a barrel of kvass). 🤣
In this case, the Police will forbid you to drive a car ..
But I believe that you will be torn to pieces if you drink a "barrel of kvass"

------
Our family makes Kvass in 3 liter glass jars.

I add a few extra cups of sugar - makes it about 2-3% alcohol.
Question - how long can one store it in the fridge before it goes off?

I never really developed a taste for Vodka but we have a case of it, not much of a beer drinker but we do have 2 kegs of medelo and corona here at the bar, we have a lot of Tequila, Scotch, Whiskey and Bourbon. We have no alcoholism issues here but we have lots of it.
Try infusing vodka with fresh fruits!!

Кwass is a fermenting non-alcoholic drink that contains carbon monoxide CO2.
-----
The combination of carbon dioxide with alcohol leads to rapid intoxication.
Therefore, your recipe is for alcoholics who have no money, but want to get drunk quickly.
----
I repeat Russians never mix alcohol with other drinks.
Perhaps this is what they do on the Internet YouTube "Crazy Russian"
