Don't get the tree photo, Phideaux. Ours still looks like that.

Like your gifts that year, WVDragonlady. Funny how we all had to pose in front of the tree with our gifts. I did, too.
I remember taking our tree down and placing each branch in it's own paper sleeve.
Grandma decorated the entire family room for Christmas.
Yes lol I got to set up the tree one year and I was so proud I was allowed to do it. Of course Daddy was sitting there instructing me but I got to do it all
I thought my wife was the only person that still hangs gobs of those foil icesicles all over.

Nope. Big bulb lights, tinsel, non matching ornaments. Handmade star our youngest made years ago.

Hubbys jeep has the fuel door behind the license plate.
The 69 Nova that I sold to my son has the gas fill behind the license plate. The girl putting in gas looks a lot like my wife at that age.
An AMX with a 401 was just about the fastest car I ever drove. The 390 was no slouch either.

I still have the set that my mother had for like 20 years ( and which I've had for another 25). they're still holding up just fine
All you have to do is look at the price of gasoline in the photo. I remember all of these. Great memories, all of them.
Those seem expensive. I was paying $0.67 in the early 90's.
