I really liked Woolworths. I liked getting a milkshake at the lunch counter after I saw the dentist.

Never been to a Woolworths, I grew up with Sears and Kmart.

We had a Piggly Wiggly and a Jitney Jungle in our town. I liked the Jitney Jungle better. They had horses pulling a stage coach out front instead of just a horse like the piggly wiggly.

We had Woolworth's, McCrory's, Rosen's, Thom McAn shoes, People's drug store ( that was downtown) Sears, Two Guys, A&P markets were farther out.
My hometown is much bigger than where I live now lol

I liked the stores with the riding horse or merry go round for a nickle in the front. Our Kmart had both.

Yep, lost a toe nail because of that glass bottle. Dropped one of the half gallon bottles on my foot around 4 or 5 years old and lost the big toe nail.

I bought a glass bottle of coca-cola at a taco truck last week. It was Mexican coca-cola. I didn't know there was a difference but it sure didn't taste like the coca-cola I'm used to drinking. I will not make that mistake again.

I remember that 8 track

I had that 8 track, and the shifter

I had that gas pedal, Hurst shifter, but the 8-track was separate from the AM radio. Most cars came with AM.
Of course, if you had an 8-track you weren't jammin' to the radio anyway.
