No Russia is not the aggressor in this issue and NO its NOT NATO causing trouble, it is the galloping left wing Europhile socialists wanting to create a giant United States of Socialist Europe causing the problem. Ukraine has NEVER been in western Europes sphere of influence but the rabble rousing and invites to the Ukrainians to join the EU , gain free travel across Europe etc have caused the instability. Ukraine is not a westernised European country its more like a peasant state similar to Russia where its historical and cultural links lie.

Russia is extremely aggressive, and I really don't know what you mean about saying that they are not? I can understand that Russia feels provoked by some of EU's actions, but Ukraine is still not Russia, and they didn't invade Russia... Russia invaded Ukraine... Putin is reading us, and they are on the move... Aggression is what that is...

I just think its time for the US to quit being the world's police force and babysitter, and to stop handing out welfare checks to damn near every country. We have our own problems to deal with here.
never said anything like that,sure you have your own problems too,but handing over nice big chunks of the world to your opponent (russia still is,even if putin tries to imply different) and maybe later come back,can be somewhat difficult.

but,as a history buff,I know that USA turned its back to Europe and the rest of the world just after WW1 and it did turn out very bad,left room for a wide variety of dictators to emerge and gain power and eventually that did cost alot of young lives to get rid of them.
