Odd calibers I have...
458 SOCOM probably falls in that list. Not SAAMI so major manufacturers won't touch it. Hornady snubs it and won't give reloading data for their 410 grain SubX for the SOCOM even though that bullet and the SOCOM were a match made in heaven.
But I have a genuine "odd" caliber if you want to call it that. 264 RLB. A wildcat based on the 6.8 SPC, body blown out straighter and shoulder blown forward and out to a 40° angle to increase powder capacity. Long throat to accommodate long bullets seated out far enough that they don't impede the powder capacity.
Small primered brass designed to take higher pressures.
It has close to the same ballistics as a 6.5 Swede factory load, but in a much smaller package. At 300 yards it has approximately the same killing power as a 30-30 at 100 yards.
