Started a new thread. We were co-mingling subjects which is completely my fault.
There is way too much partisan hatred on this site.
I still say the far extreme on both sides are bad for the whole. On this site? How about across the nation? There is no middle ground. Liberals went hard left. Many republican politicians were limp-wristed and effectively were the middle. Trump and many here have taken a strong stance for the Conservative side. I don't see a negotiation position, one side will win and one side will lose.
Brent, I challenge you, go back 200 years, and tell me what the positions of the 'left' and 'right' were back then. And compare it to today. Which party has gone off the deep end? My challenge stands.

Sorry Brent, but there can't be any middle ground when we're talking about our rights, freedom, liberties and most importantly our Constitution. The Left will never, and have never, given any ground to the conservative side. The spinless wimps in the Republican party have always given in to the Leftist Democrats in a false attempt at "working" together. That's why we're in the mess that we're in today. That and the ignorant voters who all want something for nothing and keep electing the Leftist Democrats and squishy Republicans. There is way too much partisan hatred on this site. How is anyone ever going to get anything done if there is such contempt from each side towards the other? There needs to be middle ground folks.
I think AD has a stuttering problem...
I wonder what the reaction would have been if a Republican had called Obuma names like the Democrats are doing? The media would have gone crazy.
You guys are picking on me. Even on a good day I bearly have a connection on my phone. When we have bad weather coming in it's even worse.Oh twitchy finger

I like the idea of building my own safe space. Complete with a wet bar and a brass pole....True, we are. Just let us know if you need a snowflake safe space . Lol

I plan on getting a booster as soon as the house is finished. Plus we'll get satellite internet. Just what we need; more mindless entertainment. It's all done in love! Get a cell phone booster, I think they're $350 and make a world of difference in signal strength in the house.

Hunny been thinking about switching to Hughesnet. Do you have many problems when it rains, just like satellite tv?I have to have satellite internet here too Arctic. Had Hughesnet for 20+ years.
That's a good question. I have to keep a ladder under my TV dish so I can brush the snow off. Now the snow has built up high enough on the roof that its covered the dish. I don't mind sweeping the dish off too much but I don't like going out at night to shovel the roof off.Hunny been thinking about switching to Hughesnet.
