Id really like to know too since hunny has been thinking about using them.

It was maybe 10-15 years ago, and I was pretty young. I just remember the internet service kinda sucked, so they got a tech to come out and they replaced the modem and charged them a bunch of money, and it just made everything even worse. So my parents tried to cancel the service, and they were going to charge them even more, or something like that. I remember they wrote to the president of the company iirc, and maybe threatened to take him to court (?) but eventually they got a check from the company to refund all they had spent on unsuccessful repairs. And they got the service canceled. It was a long time ago though, and the area where they live is notorious for having bad service people in general (we almost never had service people out at the house because we actually literally could do a better job, based on personal experience.) So I'm not saying don't use Hughesnet; I'm just saying that one time an unfortunate thing happened.

I’ve had the internet provider out here three times recently. I pay for 7mbs and was getting about one. They finally ran a new line to the house and I’m running about 6.1 now. Much better! Still slow by most standards but it’s worth the price to live in the country.

I am hoping the 5G cell system is going to be as good as they claim. then I can dump all cable / DSL and go with just wireless / cell system. Time will tell.

That's one I was looking into. Let me know how you like it.
I finally got to go the range yesterday. I like it. I normally shoot a Glock, but after a few rounds it starts to chap my hands because of the kick that it has. The Taurus has very little kick. I could have shot it all day. It is smaller so it is easier to handle than the Glock, but I shoot better with the Glock.. but I am sure it is just what I am used to.

Thanks for the review. Makes it sound better and better, especially at that price.
