Single shot rifle. I like using a single shot rifle on deer but on something that can eat me I want more firepower.

You need a $15,000+ double rifle. Two single shot rifles welded together.

I would not hesitate to use a single shot rifle against a bear. Done properly you can shoot and load a single shot just about as fast as a bolt action rifle especially if the single shot rifle is a falling block..

Harvested 2 with a rifle and 1 with a bow. My next hopefully will be with my S&W .460 mag. I agree with Quark, bear meat is delicious. T-loins on the grill….mmmm
