Bicycle Bug Out

Finally got all the bikes in working order for the family. We were trial riding a few weeks ago, still plenty warm down here, and i was thinking about how important it can be for everyone in the family to have a working bike with a few spare parts. Could be an ideal vehicle and must have in an short, or long term, emergency. Just a thought

it is,but to bug out with a bike,I know it can be done,but you sure have to plan it well,but for recon/reccee it's great!

I agree. I was thinking more of a long term bug in vehicle for getting around in case fuel runs out, roads blocked, etc.
