I swear the old lady that owned the house that we moved into in '62 had one of these parked in the carport:

I was only 6 but that was it. Back when cars were a thing of beauty and status and not just another 'jelly-bean'.
Maybe we should explain to the young people why they were called 'lead-sleds':rolleyes:. (it's not because they are heavy)

Now I'm all about keeping vintage machines 100% original, but I CAN tell you that at least one of these sparkplugs will bite your leg daily:

I ran a '48 Chief for about 20 years....

The rear cylinder spark plug..........well, if I got caught in a drizzle...........let's just say the inside of my thigh got "electrified"....

Thank God I did not have a magneto... (eeeeeeeeeeeek)

At least someone has experienced what I'm talking about.
That Indian 4 looks like it can't miss nailing your leg (there's 4 of 'em:eek:).
Hopefully if I had one, people would forgive me 'adulterating' it by putting boots on those terminals.
