Update on the kittens - Black one is Puca, (Celtic word) and Tibby.
Tiger once again has made his favorite rug in to a nest!!
Kitties are so funny. I like to whistle. I don't usually do it in the house. But yesterday I was sitting on the sofa whistling. Thumper came out of her house, climbed up on my knee/lap, then reached up and put her paw on my mouth, to shut up. LOL I guess the pitch bothered her hearing. LOL
You Are Aware that They have Super hearing...?!?
Oh, yes, believe me I am. I didn't mean to cause her distress, though it may have been my horrible whistling, not the pitch.
I sneak a kitty treat into her cat carrier every day, so she equates it with threats. That crazy cat will be sound asleep in her bedroom and hear the crinkle of the treat bag and come running. I have to ever so quietly hide inside the pantry to open the bag then carefully put it back in the drawer by my chair without a sound. If she hears the pantry or drawer she'll be right there.
"Is that for me? I know you have a treat. Better give it up!"

Little Annie will be with us two years tomorrow! She's an old gal, someone dumped her at 4am! She had kittens not too long before and was terribly skinny! Got her fixed and fattened up!! She loves to hang with Hubby in his shop!!
She looks so much like my Ruben Girl !!!!!
Thumper is purring and rubbing your leg in appreciation.
She is pretty, and when it's not so bright her eyes get so big! She was so scrawney when we found her. Her 5th birthday is coming up.
Some low life renters just left her when they moved. She was about 3 weeks old and fit in one hand. We're on the edge of open desert (owls, hawks, snakes, coyotes) how she survived the first night was luck. My wife carried her home. We gave her a little Trader Joes salmon juice and bits of salmon. She decided that was pretty tasty, climbed on my shoulder, and went to sleep. Thankfully she has allowed us to continue living in her house and serving as her servants.
I found Tiger about that age. His feral mommy and litter mates were killed, he followed Baby Cakes to the house! It was the day before the deadly 2021 ice storm here! He was lucky!!

A stray came up at our house during ice event also. Ester a tortoise shell, went to get her fixed and she already had the tattoo. She was still just a small kitten. She is a strange cat, stays to herself and wife says has night terrors.
As long as she has a home with y'all that's all that matters!!
Definately at our house.
