Thumper wouldn't do that!!😇
No, she tries to be a good kitty. Doesn't always succeed. The other night about 4 am she got the Zoomies. Pretty soon I heard a muffled crash. We have like a wide shoe box full of food saver bags on the island. She pushed the whole box off! My new thousand dollar suppressor was right next to it, but thankfully she didn't knock it off too. Probably saved her life! ;) :D

Many years ago I lived on a sailboat. My then GF and I found a kitten. It never really got "sea legs." In the middle of the night it would romp around the deck, then there'd be a "ker-splash" as it fell off. We had a towel hanging off the swim step so it could get back aboard. The forward hatch over the master cabin bed had black plexiglas. The cat would run over the hatch at night. In the winter it was closed and in summer there was a "wind scoop" to flow air into the boat. Well one night in early spring we'd opened the hatch but didn't put on the scoop. The cat was running around the deck, then suddenly a suprised cat fell onto the bed about 2 am. It apparently saw the black hole and assumed the hatch was closed. Fell about 5 feet onto my stomach. Glad it wasn't my face! :D :D

Here's a pic of little Thumper as I posted this. She loves to lay on my hoodie.

Oh yeah, lot's of stories, not all about cats. ;) Our little sailing kitty didn't last long, about a month or two. It got seasick. It was a white cat (I forgot what we'd named it) one time we were underway, in the intercoastal, not even at sea, and I swear it's fur turned green! We were at a dock in Ft. Lauderdale and somehow it got out. We looked and looked, but it was done with us, never showed up again. I hope it found someone with a nice house full of mice and lived it's best life. :)
