Traces of blood have been found in my coffee stream. That should answer whether or not I drink coffee....

I take mine black. On rare occasion, I'll tart it up with sweetener and milk.

And having a backup means to make coffee is important!!

I drink my coffee black. The lone exception was when I was in Montreal. They had incredible brown sugar cubes I would put in my coffee. More often than not I will make cowboy coffee, so I don't have to rely on a machine. Takes a little longer, but I like it.

Make it a cup at a time put grinds in filter pour water over it ,little creamer and sugar. If we had a warmer I'd use camp perculater, but not going to leave stove on to keep it hot.Our electric coffe pot bit the dust in just a few months.

Although I do not support, well, honestly I despise Starburnt coffee, they have these great little individual servings of freeze dried packets that I keep in my "go-bag." I can dump the contents into a bottle of water, and have an emergency cup of coffee. Getting the water hot is a plus. It is nice as a back-up when the power goes out.

I go for dark roast, strongly brewed. But I can't drink it black. I usually go for one of the three International Delight flavored/sweetened creamers below in mine. Sometimes I'll pick up the Irish Cream flavored one, my least favorite of the group but still OK. I can tolerate coffee with only plain cream/milk in it (no sugar), but whatever I mix up, it's got to have some kind of creamer in it (sweetener option, but greatly appreciated!) Black is too harsh for me.

I like Coco, hot chocolate, milk, hot tea & ice tea, many fruit juice.
I started drinking coffee when I had my first paying job, at eight years old. My Father told the waitress to give me half milk & half coffee.
Now I drink coffee with milk in it, a light tan color, people say "you have a little coffee in your milk."
I have drunk coffee black, no sugar, but I rather have milk, maybe honey to break the norm once in a while.
I do drink favor coffee sometimes.

We are coffee nuts here. I have a percolator and a stovetop drip pot as backups.

K drinks his black and I like mine with stevia and nutpod creamer. (low calorie creamer compared to the heavy cream I use to add to my coffee).

As a reformed coffee addict, I feel I have to weigh in.
For years, I only headed off to work with 8 cups loaded with 3 tablespoons of sugar in my thermos.
"Houston, we have lift-off!!!":woo hoo:
A few years before I retired I cut back to 4 cups, (I think because my blood-pressure could only be measured with hydraulic gauges ).
After I retired I could get by with only 16oz and one tbsp of sugar.
Since I wasn't doing a damthing anymore, it got to be more trouble than it was worth.
Today I am 'coffee-free'.

Of course, I'm only running on 5 cylinders:(...
Don't ask me to do anything, I'll just choose a nap instead

Coffee = life.

The only time I drink more then 3 cups of coffee in the morning, was when I was working two jobs & up14 hours a day.
I have on cold day, stayed in & hibernate like a bear, when I could no longer sleep I would get on the computer & drink hot drinks all day, mostly coffee, some time hot chocolate milk/ hot coco.

I don't drink a ton of coffee, but I do enjoy it. I'm not a snob. To me the water is as important as the coffee. I despise coffee made with that chlorine flavored swimming pool water that most cities have. I'm just as happy with Folger's as I am with boutique coffee. That said, Dunkin Donuts coffee is pretty good. I have a can of Folger's at home. I also have a bag of Black Rifle Coffee Company's "Just Black" medium roast. It's good, but not worth the $16 price tag. The best I've found, so far, is Iowa Coffee Roasters Jamaican Island. Absolutely fantastic coffee.

I take mine straight black and a little on the tough side. I don't mind a few grounds in the bottom of the cup. Years ago I made it so strong that I could levitate and temporarily understand foreign languages after two cups, but those days are long gone now. I don't think my kidneys could handle it anymore...

i confess to getting lazy and becoming a fru-fru coffee addict. cafe de olla, cinnamon coffee and yes, sigh, it is instant. and i add califa almond and coconut milk creamer. in my true coffee days i was ground coffee in a french press---forget the percolator thing. too may times the electric goes out. with a french press one is all powerful in grid down time.

K use to make coffee with tap water. I told him I don't put tap water in my body and our weekend coffee had to be made with filtered/bottled water. After drinking the 'fru fru' coffee all weekend K told me his normal tap water coffee tasted salty. Now he uses filtered water.

Bad water can make great grinds taste like dirt.

DW use a Britta filter for all drinking water, coffee tea & lemonade.
