What makes you think there would be an increase potential for an EMP ?

Why would they stop something thate deliberate and not continue to collapse the world governments?
Now I am old and a bit dense but I don't see any advantage to be gained from an EMP attack. Yes bankrupt the economies of all the world and then come riding in to save the day, that makes sense. Destroying the infrastructure and reducing the population to starving violent animals does not benefit anybody. Be the savior and reap the benefits, without much opposition. A lot easier to feed the critters than be on the critters menu.
Giveth the people bread and blood, saith the Caeser. All they need to do to clean the world of all but the hermits and preppers is turn the electricity off and say the INTERNET GOT A VIRUS ALSO...after 6 months come out of their collective holes and bunkers only to have the vaccine and anti-virus software to SAVE THE REST OF US.
Read up, stock up and hunker down fellow preppers, we are in for a ride of a lifetime if the powers that be decide to let us all decimate each other to save them the cost of a war and losing their faces...WE DID'T DO IT! It was them! Gary

Don’t see how we get away from a worldwide economic collapse, but where does the EMP come into it? Also, do you think this virus was lab created?

Too much hype Peachie. Not enough balance. Yes Gates, Buffet, Bushes, Putin, Bilderberg and others, would like (love) to reduce the world population in any way legally possible to save this earth from even more pollution. There are too many mouths to feed, too much over population in the poorest of lands with the most desired support from the sympathetic christians in the richer lands. Not to put them in a drawer, but the more you help them, the more children they selfishly produce causing even more problems. When the Pope finally decides to use the trillions of dollars the Church owns to feed the children he says should not be prevented by condomes and safe sex, then I will also believe he means what he says...there will always be rich and poor, selfish and charitable, greedy and thrifty. We are surrounded by those with their hands out, some are called beggars, some democrats, some are just lazy fakes with a mercedes around the corner. If you don't have enough faith, get some. Those who believe in their God will not be afraid of anything. Not death or hunger. Even if it comes knocking, I know where I am headed. Others will and have laughed at me for saying such things. Funny, if an ISLAMIST is ready to die for his beliefs, he is a terrorist. If a Christian is ready to die for his beliefs, he is just an idiot believing on a fantasy. Each has his own free will and I am the last to try to convince anyone what to do or believe. I can only live my example and hope others will be convinced by my life, but not from my words. After surviving 18 different types of life-endangering situations and coming out without a scratch or broken bone, seeing two demons watching me around a corner on the way home from prayer meetings and being spoken to from a protective entity which I have named or received his name as being Hahuiah...my belief, my life, my decision. It has worked since my 9th birthday and still functions. Lots of people only believe in their God at Christmas and on Easter, then when all Hell breaks loose, they want God to save them from everything!!! I even call on Hahuiah to find or clear me a parking space when I go shopping and it never fails...Gary
I needed to hear these words GaR. While I am not afraid of death because I know where I’m going, I do allow myself to be afraid of change. I too have an angel that is with me most days. There is no doubt he protects me in all ways. Wish he would give me his name.

My main concern has always been EMP. It would cripple the most. I don't rely on tech that much except to keep up with you guys.
I know it would collapse electrical, water, everything, but the do it on The Walking Dead. Imagine people actually have conversations again.
My generator only has two cylinders of propane though. Need to find a way to patch into my main 500 gallon tank.

I hear you! An EMP was at the top of my list, because it would kill so many people in a short time. Never really prepped for a pandemic and look where we are! I’m mentally ready for about everything else, but a virus you can’t see? Not so much. Am working on getting my head together and leaning more on the Lord.
You should have you propane folks hook up to your generator before it gets too hairy. It should not be that expensive. We had a Generac put in and had the propane folks hook up the propane from the big tanks to it.
The line that leaves your large tank, after the regulator, is reduced pressure. You can tap into that anywhere there is a junction, or even cut in a junction. Your generator should allready have a it’s own regulator too. Just hook into the line coming from that. Always check your connections with soapy water to check for leaks. I rinse off the soap afterwards to prevent rust. It’s fairly simple to do this, or your gas company can do it for a charge. One thing to consider though, if an emp hits then your generator would likely be affected too....

I ran a line to my gas grill and swimming pool heater . I'm guessing either of those spots would be best.

tell me your month and day of birth, there are many in contact with angels and I have an excellent book, of which angel is allocated according to your birthdate. No doubt it's the whole world, I can only speak about what I'm seeing in this country on a personal level. People on the radio are comparing the markets and businesses to the Great Depression and I don't see the comparison, back in those day's the majority of the population was rural unlike today and not every community was impacted during the Great Depression, we didn't even have Interstate highways until 1960s, even small towns are connected in ways that were unfathomable in the 20s and 30s and I'm sure the same in a good number of European countries and the UK. The affects are impacting eveyone even if they don't see it or feel it yet.

My grandmother who lived to be just short of 100 told me many stories about the Great Depression. Her husband died right before the Depression started, leaving her alone with 9 children. You would think the stories she told would be horrible, right? They were stories of struggle, love and God. She went around the house singing praises to God in all the years I was around her. Mom said she did the same during the depression. She was an amazingly strong woman who put all her faith in the Lord.
EMP is just a possible example. Yes I think it was man made. That's the major cover up
At this point, with it almost certainly being lab made...none of us can assume they don’t have more coming. It happening this way actually helps us to test our supplies, preparedness and plans.
It's one of the only things that makes sense as to why such extreme responses for a strange virus that has only killed a supposed less than 8 thousand people in 3 months worldwide? Plus there is evidence it was made in lab, then info was scrubbed from internet.

Had a disturbing talk with son and his wife last night. She is a nurse practitioner that works in a clinic associated with one of the leading hospitals in Texas. They helped develop the vaccine that is now being tested on a woman I believe in WA. According to her, we are not going to get a handle on this until 70% of the world's population gets the virus and enough antibodies are built up.
The main reason for the cal last night was to say that her clinic will be shutdown and they want her to work in the main hospital with the coronavirus patients, since she specializes with lung infections, which means son is now going to have to work from home and granddaughter will no longer be going to daycare. They are trying to get a backup plan on what they are going to do it they both come down with it for granddaughter. She will most likely be a carrier too. . . But how can I turn my back on her. Plan is that she will come to the farm, which means I would also not be able to go to work since I work in the public as with direct contact with food. This is only if they both come down with it, but since I am the youngest grandparent I have the better chance to survive if I did come down with it. It's a scary thought. . . This is getting very real now folks. . .

Yeah, I think the President or one on the commission said 70% have to have been exposed for the spread and danger to abate. We just can’t do it all at once or every healthcare facility will crash.
Your plan is good since you are the youngest. Decide now on the trigger and figure out how to get your granddaughter...and of course how to protect yourself if she is carrying the virus. Question. Did your DIL say if carriers can show zero symptoms? I’ve read that is so, but would like more input.
