Where is Terri9630?
Thanks, didn't want to be nosy, kinda figured that was going on.@Pearl she was logging in this week. It's usually late at night, I see her around midnight cst. Having difficulty, kid's health issues were acting up.
Wow, it sure has been a while since we have seen you! Hope to see more of you!I just found that the forum can be pushed to my phone. It will make it much easier to post as my laptop is an old clunker, kind of like me. I have not stopped preparing, just posting. So hopefully I'll be posting more. It will be laziness that will delay me now.
Good to know you are ok!I'm fine for whatever the value of 'fine' is in 2021. Bored, depressed, uncertain....plenty of food, water, ammo, and firewood.
Just reached the point where it felt like I had heard everything I was hearing before, and said everything I was saying before.
We've all picked our sides, and we all seem to have pretty much run out of new ideas. I know I have.
We have not seen Hooch since July 20, 2020.
This is what I do. I stay away from some threads and some not so kind people. Sometimes, at least for me, the only thing that some things do is to make my blood pressure rise. Nothing I can do about some things, so why go there?I hear you about ‘heard it all, said it all’ - it can burn you out. Would it be possible to stay away from certain threads/topics, but still participate elsewhere? Glad you’re doing okay (with the appropriate ’it’s 2021’ qualifiers) and glad you’re here. Thanks for checking in.
I'm selective about the threads I visit. I only have one person on "ignore" but others I tend to pass over. Even those people have worthy posts so I tend to give them a cursory glance. We tend to get new members with questions and that is something I look for. This is what I do. I stay away from some threads and some not so kind people. Some people to, want to, argue, debate. That is never me.
Some people like to poke and upset others. That is a sure way to lose my friendship.
Thank you for the reminder. I need to put at least one more person on ignore. I tried this to get someone to stop poking at me, but they could still see what I posted and then found ways to poke at me. Bullies seem to be everywhere and once they get someone in their sights, won't give it up.I'm selective about the threads I visit. I only have one person on "ignore" but others I tend to pass over. I am finding that taking up old hobbies that have fallen by the wayside is good entertainment. I very recently got back into airgunning by buying myself a new airgun during the Thanksgiving sales. I found my old slingshot stuff and will be tying some more band sets for the frames later today. I'm even thinking of dusting off the telescope and doing some astronomy again. Although the cold nights might put a chill on reincarnation of that hobby...But in the 'Miserable Meantimeᵀᴹ we just have to treasure our 'Flowers growing in the cracks of the concrete' (like our Sons & Daughters..) and just Keep Shoveling..

I interpret this as "getting back to living" and say kudos! More folks should do the same.I am finding that taking up old hobbies that have fallen by the wayside is good entertainment. I've never known what 'living' was supposed to be...
Hugs to you!! Sometimes you can look too hard for answers, sometimes there are no answers!I've never known what 'living' was supposed to be, no idea how to get back it, no idea how to move forward to it.
And the only time I'm not wondering what I'm supposed to be doing are the 2 minutes a year, on average, when something is trying to kill me.
So I spend most of my life 'holding' back from the only thing that I am clear about. Everything else is just confusion.
Could be an interesting new thread if someone is so inclinedHugs to you!! Sometimes you can look too hard for answers, sometimes there are no answers!
An "I can't figure it all out either" thread! We are all in the same boat, some of us row harder!Could be an interesting new thread if someone is so inclined

Great thread you started, great idea!! Will make us all think a lot more about life, how we live, those in our lives!! Maybe push some in a better direction, or realize they are already going in the right direction!
