Cool, I'm getting better on this iPad! The link actually worked!

Just recently had a boxer/pit mix. One of the most lovable dogs ever. Only issue was, he didn't get along with the other large male dog we have...after one of the smaller female dogs went into heat.

They were best buds before that. After that though, we had to keep them separate. We did that for over a year (with only a few fights we had to break up...usually ending up in at least one nasty bite while they tried to kill each other).....until it was just too much. We found the boxer/pit a nice home though, and they are both much happier apart now. That whole deal wasn't about the breed. BOTH dogs wanted a go at each other. (the other is a lab/chow). It was all due to a female chihuahua going into heat, and that one of the males wasn't fixed (is now though, but it didn't help the fighting with the other).

Heck, men don't get along well when there's a hot little female around either. Can't fault em for that :).
