This isn't about politics to me. This is about humanity.

I think the government should stay out of people's lives. Marijuana being illegal is one of the dumbest laws ever.

Exactly. Someone is going to have a rude awakening some day. It may be a hurricane, tornado or something else, but you shouldn't rely on home delivery. Even the stores will be without within 3 days if no transit is running. He really will be eating all veggies then. Grass and weeds probably.

correct if I'm wrong, but during the last hurricane that hit Fl,wasn't there a whole lot of people, more or less screwed and angry 'cause Amazon or something similar couldn't deliver home, when they ordered some "hurrican preps" online?

....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand suddenly we all lived happily ever after, all criminals went from bad to good, politicians actually started to do good for all of us,all weapons disappeared from the face of the earth and we took hands and sang kumbaya with some flowers in the hair :)

that would look lovely :)
you wouldn't look intimidating any more,when you sit down,hold hands,sing kumbaya,smoke a joint...sing some more..
and watch the beautiful future coming towards you,a future with peace, love, understanding

double post,dang...first one went to bit heaven, only to come back later..but only after I re-wrote the darn thing

I don't need a gun to feel like a strong person.
Most gun lovers have a general feeling of powerlessness. They try to mask this feeling with guns. But that just masks the issue and doesn't solve it.

.

lol,,,is that what you think, well I have news for you most guns sit in a safe or gun cabinet most of the time,,,,,and if you think myself or anyone else here feel powerless maybe you should try saying that to our face,,,,just see what that gets you

Skeeter

I don't know of anyone life revolves around the gun here, we have more pressing matter I know I do, We have live stock that needs tending tomorrow and got to uncover the vehicles besides, the Wife been snowed out forced to stay in the house in town for a week due to avalanche issues, those are conversations at home in fact i don't remember the last we talked guns at home, they pretty much out of sight out of mind until target practice comes up then we get the range. I'd had the grandkids out i think early last month. Now i am thinking fishing...

Powerless without a firearm? you would be mistaking and not a small mistake at that ;) though I do feel powerless without my Wife given I can't go and get her unfortunately, up here we are beholding to mother nature.

I think several here have the right idea. Skeeter is a liberal, juvenile troll just stirring trouble. Rather than talking, in a moment I will 'report' one of his posts as, well, just a troll. And I'll find the 'ignore' button one more time.

He will get tired of talking to himself. And we don't get that many newbies that he will mislead them. He hasn't done anything yet to get banned from the forum, but he definitely has proven that he is not here to learn and just wants to spout his snowflake SJW ignorance.

Please join me.

But there always seems to he the loose cannon who either freak out or are just evil people and use their weapon when it's not actually necessary

Loose cannons will still exist regardless of what weapon is available for them to use. Just look at the mass knifing in China, or the numerous times someone drove a vehicle into a crowd. Outlawing a particular weapon isn't going to stop crazy.

I buy waders and hip boots from Academy, but I have had to buy them en-route to Mississippi when I go there hunting.

I'm sure the tree hugger hikers and cyclists will still go to Dick's because that is apparently who they are pandering to. But hunters and fishermen will have no reason to go to Dick's anymore. Hunters and fishermen spend WAY more money than the hikers and cyclists. Besides, the hardcore cyclists, which are the ones that really spend money on it, go to bike shops anyhow. Hardcore golfers go to real pro shops.

I’m actually still fine with Dicks choice to stop selling AR’s. Just like I respect chick filet for their decision to not open on Sunday. The whole point of being in a democratic society is for being able to make your own choices. I may think some choices aren’t the best for profit for the company, but still support their right to decide for themselves.
