I’m actually still fine with Dicks choice to stop selling AR’s. Just like I respect chick filet for their decision to not open on Sunday. The whole point of being in a democratic society is for being able to make your own choices. I may think some choices aren’t the best for profit for the company, but still support their right to decide for themselves.

If they had just quietly stopped selling ARs that would be one thing. But they went out of their way to demonize ARs and even to hire frickin' lobbyists to push for gun control.

I remember now why I stopped reading Field & Stream magazine. In the late 1960's Field & Stream came out against "Saturday Night Specials" which was the big gun control cause du jour at the time.

Believe it or not, German made Walther PPKs were classified as "Saturday Night Specials" by law, and were banned from import. Which is why Walther had to start manufacturing pistols in the U.S.

A business can obviously choose to sell, or not sell, any product they want. And we can choose to NOT spend our money at that business if we don't like their anti gun business decision. I'll never step foot in Dick's again. Let the hikers and bicycle riders with their silly spandx outfits and goofy hats have it.

I think that not spending your money in a retail business is probably the best thing you can do if you don’t like something they do or stand for.

Nope, they can do as they please. Mom and Pop gun stores love it. If you were a true prepper, you would know that we want government out of our lives. We are totally for Dicks doing as they please

We also believe that We have the right to shop where we want and that's what we do.

Dick's Sporting Goods is no longer going to sell firearms, hunting, shooting equipment... anything related to shooting including archery.

Then there stock went down the toilet. Shopped there once or twice more than 5 years ago. Never will again.

I remember their stocks tanking. It seems that they wouldn't want to dig the hole deeper.
