week 36 day 3
today vegetarian pasta with walnuts and lentils, I have made this before and it's pretty good
I will use a store jar of pasta sauce most likely. There is one kind that does not have corn syrup or sugar in it: Classico roasted garlic. Whenever I see any of them I buy like 3.
The other thing I buy that doesn;t have sugar in it ( because I don't like it in there ) is Dukes mayo. It's more expensive but mayo with sugar in it doesn't taste good to me.
Just got a jar of peanut butter without sugar. Haven't opened it yet. WHy do they have to put sugar in EVERYTHING???

I look at the weather forecast and want to cry.....
i may get a shot of vodka and soak in tub and dream about ashley abbot today while i wait for todays episode of young and the restless !

if we didn't have the animals and son didn't have to drive to work I wouldn't care, but we do. He has to go to work tomorrow but there is no sign of snow magically disappearing. I hope the snow cables I got for his car will work

ice and snow were heavy...but at noon today a big bright sun came out and started melting it all...i was able to get to trail and hiked entire length...i can see snow and ice still on the mtns but its melting....met some young fellers working for county and they were out clearing trail systems in county...met a young fellow and small children hiking and his girls wanted to go fishing today since schools were closed....hope for society right there.....glorious day but no wildlife.
p.s. seen 6 electric crews taking lunch break on way home....they working on getting all power restored.

chicken, yellow rice, sweet potatoes, broccoli
AND I was bad again and baked a cake ( it's a German recipe with chocolate and nuts in it)
I was very very surprised to not lose power in the storm. Only internet this time. Son said he saw a tree on a powerline trying to catch on fire ( sparking) on his way home today
